Likes

Classrooms in new academic building which are very spacious
Some faculty members are very friendly and some people are very strict
Pupil culture and their tradition I liked very much

Dislikes

Hostels are not good. Very low maintenance
Cleaning is not done properly mainly in girls hostel
Washrooms are not good enough very bad actually but we have to adjust

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually Civil Engineering is very interesting course in which we can study how the dams infrastructures are built and what kind of products are used and how to take those proportions for building and about dams and all historical monuments are built by great civil engineers only

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Internships Opportunities

I'm just studying 2nd year and I don't have any idea about that internship all that kind of stuff. But it is mandatory to do an internship before entering into the third year and it carries some credits also

Placement Experience

Placements depends on individual courses average package for civil engineer in our campus is 7,00,000. And after graduation we have to pursue Mtech os MS so we can earn more more we can crack GATE exam also

Fees and Financial Aid

Caution Fee is 20,000. Tuition fee is 62,500 per sem. For SC and ST categories only tuition fee is free they have to pay hstl fee. Regarding scholarships only few people are eligible based on their family income

Campus Life

Campus life is ok because friends are there and we can enjoy with them. But no fests are conducted in our college because of this director who won't allow us to enjoy. If some working day is holiday means on Saturday compensation classes are held.

Hostel Facilities

Too bad. Low maintenance , cleaning is not done properly,and so many issues are there in the hostels. We are literally facing so many issues with mess food and so many insects will come in the food we are eating

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Basically I didn't apply to any other universities. I've attempted JEE mains and I got some percentile And I attended councelling and no one directed me in this councelling. Me itself I choosed this college based on my rank they gave me civil engineering course

Faculty

The relationship between faculty and students are not able to find out because it depends on each faculty. Some people are very strict and some are very friendly to whom we can share all our thoughts and they encourage us

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum of our college runs under the guidance of JNTU where all the fundamentals such as DSA ,program,data base and CN also core math are given in this college divides the conceptual,lessons in 5 units .for each unit we have submit assignment unit test and also an ALP which is concentrated on learning ,mechanisam which help student revise the concept in class itself.In terms of real world the curriculum builds the theoritical, knowledge but somewhat limited exposure where students should have get internships for an industry level experience or else atleast a entry level jobs help the students to learn as well.Area of improvement include more hands- on project works and more interactive teaching methods Like case studies and problem ,based, learning. Exams are regularly for 2 mid term for semester and one end semester exam.the difficulty level is moderate and manageable with consistent and study and focusing more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester itself students are eligible for placement drives if they pay for the placement training classes , internship drives start from 5th semester and training classes go on for students every week , from 7th semester drives on different job roles start and the placed percentage of students right now is about 30 to 40 percent and drives are still going on but correct training and correct opportunities more needs to be provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
