Remarks

There are many career guidance and motivation classes organized in our college which is very helpful for the students to develop themselves many job oriented workshops are conducted in the college one of the major drawback of the college is on the matter

I took KEAM entrance exam i got 34281 rank in KEAM it was the best option I had to choose mechanical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and interesting the faculties are very good and well qualified they show good concern about the students and helps them to attain good results.

Internships Opportunities

Infosys is a company which offers internship it offers rs10000 per month as stipend.

Placement Experience

28 students are placed in infosys this year many big companies like IBM, MRF, saint globin etc comes to the college for campus placement infosys is offering rs 3.5 lakhs per annum as salary.

College Events

Mechathlon, Teranis, Srishti, and Gnista are the technical fest organized in our college they are very big and ther is large participation of people in it in mechathlon stunts of ghost riderz, treasure hunt, etc are there.

Fees and Financial Aid

MOMA is one of the scholarships in our college it given on the basis of merit and income it gives rs 30000 for hostellers and rs 25000 for day scholers.

The campus life is very beautiful here the male-female ratio is almost equal here all students are treated equally here,Students from various parts of kerala study here many workshops are conducted each month political parties are very strong in our college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are very good, clean and spacious hostels consists of a well organized mess which is controlled by the students there is seperate rooms for each individuals.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

The seniors and alumni are very supporting and they help in all academic problems alumni association helps the students to get jobs.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
