Remarks

Faculty is good, but lab assistants and guards are not good in talking with students, they speak blunt language. I never seen any guard and lab assistant to be polite with students. But we get good food here in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

I don't like the curriculum of my college much as they only concern on books. College don't focus on practical knowledge. Even we have to give exams every month, as internals and externals. Thats why we students also don't get much time for yourself to explore college life.

Placement Experience

As i am in second year right now, the college didn't provide any internship. But i heard about placement cell, that most of the students of our college get recruite every year in some companies in forth year.

College Events

Till now i didn't enjoy my college life in this college. Even we didn't get fresher party at that time. But this year college is preparing to conduct fest. Previous year college conducted some painting competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive for some and not for others. As compared to other government engineering colleges, the fee structure is almost same. But they take extra money for educational trip and training which is not upto that mark of this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about this scholarship and loan facility. But IP University offer scholarship or fee consession for those student who are under some income criteria. Rest i am unaware about college scholarship program.

Campus Life

We have labs but that are too old fashion thing, like our school days. Nothing new even computers are not that good. For extracurricular there is no specific period in time table or we are not allowed to bunk to enjoy extracurricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Students are helpful here, but never seen any alumni or may be i am not able to make connections with them. But students of same batch and seniors are helpful. I have only few senior friends, so i don't know much.

Faculty

Faculty is good and helpful. Most teachers are always ready to help students. But teachers are not upto date with current technology. Even college don't recruit young ones so that we can recieve something new from them.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
