You are entitled as a 'Doctor' once your degree is over. You can start your own clinical practice or can apply for the government exams once the degree gets over. Many graduates prefer to do masters. Placement provided by the college has declined during the last few years, though you can grab the opportunity by your talent and skills.

Campus Life

4

'Vet night' is the only mega event celebrated in the month of April on the occasion of world veterinary day. Before this event a whole week is marked as vet week during which different competitions and events take place. All the events are organised by the VETERINARY SOCIETY. Apart from this , VIBGYOR week is also celebrated which is organised by kaizen vet society (a society runned by students). The college has there own library but students prefer to go to the university library which is much more better than the former one . Coming to the sports activities, it is mostly organised at the university level . You can actively participate in them.

4

You are alloted different hostel based on the academic year and course in which you are. In first year you are alloted a triple seater room followed by double seater in the upcoming years. The hostel are very cheap ( you pay ?600 for the whole year) and mess food is generally edible.

Admission

This college was my first choice because it is well known all over the India and also because it was close to my home town. Little did I knew about the IVRI, Izzatnagar at that time which is one of the finest institute of veterinary science, if you are able to take admission there then go for it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It offers multiple opportunities and a great profession to persue. If one has inclination towards animals and doest compare it with mbbs or other degrees. It is a different profession requiring different mindsets. One can be a veterinary officer of grade one or grade two according to state government.
