Here academic is very excellent and profesor are very helpful to us every thing is ok

Dislikes

There is no proper facilities of the clinics and most of them are always indulged in the unnecessary works
Infrastructure is little bit call be improved to make it excellent
Hostals are in very bad condition and mess is also need to be improvised

There is very excellent academic and professional development of the students every faculty is very nice and helpful to students and teaching methods are very nice there are proper classes and proper laboratory

About final year of course students get placements There are many companies which regularly visit the college and give students placement Like Venky's company and virbac and other companies placement are available here My plan is to make my private clinic where I can help the people and animals

Campus Life

Festival like Holi and dipawali are celebrated here and Library is very excellent and each and every yearly books and. Data is available here and very helpful Sports almost every sports game is available here indor and outdoor both

Hostel Facilities

There is only wooden bed and almira for students and nothing else is provided Almost all types of vegetables and dishes are cooked here but quality is not that much good which can be appreciated registration is done by online mode every year

Admission

I got also applied for medical college dehradun and but I didn't get so I choose to come here to become a professional student in medical college I like the the same there is entrance exam helded by gbpuat pantnagar

Faculty

Faculty and students ratio is about 3:1 students ratio to faculty There are very good profesor in the college and app there is 3 internal exams and 2 external exams. reciate the students periodically nice teacher student relations health study

Night Life

Gym is present in pant bhawan in pantnagar and a large gym alo available here in Stevenson stadium in which cricket and football is played Hostal entry at night is 9 pm which is suitable here so campus is closed about 5 pm

It offers multiple opportunities and a great profession to persue. If one has inclination towards animals and doest compare it with mbbs or other degrees. UG AT VETERINARY COLLEGE GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

There are plenty ot government and private jobs in veterinary sector if a person is having good knowledge of the subject he can have upto 8 to 10 LPA of income package after completing of ug and after few years of experience the income may raise to 15 to 17 LPA . There is no dedicated placement cell in the college for veterinarians but different state govt , army , paramilitary forces, different central and state govt conduct inductions for permanent employment of veterinarians . Employment is almost guaranteed after completion of this degree .

I choose this college as i wanted to pursue something in the field of medical / veterinary science . I always wanted to save lives of animals/people and was quite fascinated by how organisms function and how animals survive. I applied for agriculture college and was confirmed admission, but I was more inclined towards animal biology than plant . I tried for a medical College too , but my score didn't permit me to score a seat there. The admission process is through a pen and paper mode exam ( objective type ) containing questions from physics , chemistry, biology, general studies, aptitude and reasoning . Some students can also apply via the counselling conducted by the VCI on the basis of their NEET score . The eligibility criteria is 1. You must have at least 45% marks in the relevant subject in Class 12. 2. For Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, you must be between 17 and 25 years old. 3.
