Syllabus is good, you can enjoy the study here. The subject connects you with the application of biological technology at the different areas of life. You'll find the course more relevant and practical.

Placements are not that good but yeah some companies approch here for the placement. Mainly IB GROUP (ABIS) , BALKO, some nursing homes.They select the students based on their skills and knowledge. While placement rate in the Biotechnology department is very low with the average package of 2.5-3 lakh per anum.

my clg fee is 1400 and Department of Biotechnology at Govt. Digvijay College, offers a 4 year undergraduate and 2 years post graduate course in Biotechnology. The faculty members are very cooperative and fine at their areas. Lab is well facilated and have enough requirements for the graduation level lab skills . You'll get a good hands on the lab under the proper guidance of your lab incharge . Biotech lab has laminar air flow chamber,hot air oven, autoclave, bacteriological incubator,deep freezer, microscope, shaking incubator, water bath, electric balance, tissue culture rack etc. Classrooms are also good . Their is no departmental library. They took the students fir the educational visits and industrial visits. Workshops are rare at the department but seminar sessions are very common. If you are thinking about a best college for BSc. Biotechnology at Rajnandgaon,then it is best for you and fees is also very low . Over all , you can definitely go there for your graduation!!!!!

Many cultural activities are arranged in the college, along with the studies. Some international workshops has been also organised there. Annual day celebration, holi celebration and annual sports week are being celebrated.

I chosed the college because it was nearer in my reach , the course fees was also very low , the review I got from my seniors was also a positive response about the department and the subject influenced me more to be a part of the department.

Currently the department is following the NEP 2020. Bsc. Biotech is a four year undergraduate program, two semesters in an year. Options of Add on courses are also available.
