Admission

i had applied for presidency university and mount carmel and i got approved from both the colleges i choose MCC mainly because of timmings and transportation issues MCC is near to my home which takes my mostly 10-15 mins to reach in traffic but presidency is really far from my home it would take me 1-1:30 hrs to reach without any traffic

Faculty

4

faculty members are very approachable in regular office working hours and encourage student interaction Ms Monica mam is very approachable she gives students the right coaching and encouragement . mostly all faculty members are good but there are some members who doesn't appreciate and encourage students . most courses include a mix of projects, internships and lab works . Students have 2 End semester exams in 1 year which include 80 marks paper and in between 2 CIA tests which includes 30 marks one offline and one online . exams are easy if you focus and study but exams are hard if you obviously dont study difficulty and easygoing exams depends on you how you study and on courses you have choosen . mostly all students paas in exams

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
