Course Curriculum Overview

4

Cst is new and emerging course having a vast placement opportunities and high paying ratio among other tech courses. Course is quite classic and stereotypical rather than mordern methods, inustry is 10 to 15 years ahead from what we are bieng taught. Teaching should introduce interactive lecture and quizzes Exam frequency is very bad as every month end introduce a series of exams and costs a hefty tension.

Placement Experience

4

Students can sit for on campus placement from 5 semester and can get on campus internship from 3 semester, off campus placement and internship are subject to students and their skills. D&Shaw, osterra,Microsoft, amazon are some of big bulls proving placement from 10 lpa to 64 lpa. Tcs,wipro are some of mass recruiter providing 3-7 lpa Most of the students get placed this year in my course only 3 students were unplaced among 90 students. After getting the degree i would prefer a app development or managing in a tech companies

There are 1 event minimum every month taking place in auditorium and open to all students of college Library is vast and have latest journals and magazines and old books with classic books for students. Library is equipped with computer and lan connection, classes are also well air conditioned and well lighted. Sports is not that developed and supported in college, cricket ground and football ground is common and not maintained, badminton court is paid 200 rupee per hour for 4 person Social groups, clubs are well active and supportive from soft skills to tech related skills and internship.

Admission

I got rejected from jac colleges like dtu, nsut and iit delhi due to low marks in maths in 12 and and rank above the cutoff rank. I didn't applied for branches lower form ece and dseu colleges, because of there low opportunities in placement. Mait comes under ip university which conducts its own registration and admission procedure under ipu counselling and students get the colleges according to there rank and preference list

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is decent and every 40 student have there mentor teacher who provides every details of any ongoing event or scholarships or any insider changes. Uk jha sir (electrical science)proffesor is very supportive for any personal issue Navneeta(chemistry proffesor) helps in any college or academics issue Teachers openly support skills and experience above the academics and grades. Some teachers are highly eduacated with exceptional skills but are unable to deliver that knowledge. Students dont fail in exam that easily until they dont pay any attention or are absent in most classes.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.
