A story of how a college transformed a person

An overall good college with extra ordinary faculty and senior network. People are helpful and cooperative. Overall huge college and amazing infrastructure which will surely delight you in all aspects.

The curriculum is rigorous and makes sure it covers all sectors of an individual's development. We studies breaths of various computer subjects and went into depths in many of the subjects. We have 2 Term tests for 20 marks, after which we get graded for our class and lab performance. We have our vivas then which are added to our subjective exams, generally of 80 marks.

Our college has a special internship committee, which is presided by me, that grants internships to 2nd and 3rd year students. We closely observe the skills in our students and compare against the skills demanded by the companies after which we provide them with a platform to interview. Our college also has a placement cell primarily concerned with placement of students. We have an approximate rate of 98.4% placement in our college.

We have a range of events in our college. From technical and learning events to cultural and traditional festivals. A huge student participation is observed in all the events. These are also attended by the teachers, which are pretty cool with the students.

It is expensive, but compared to other engineering colleges, it falls in the manageable sector. It varies around 1.45 Lacs per annum inclusive of various amenities available in the college. The infrastructure of the college is completely worth the price.

Our college does offer grants to meritorious students. Every year there is a certain cutoff above which the college clears the tuition fee (1.3 ish Lacs per annum). It also supports TFWS (tuition fee waiver scheme) if applied online and clears the criteria mentioned online.

The labs are small in area, but compared to other engineering college labs (as many I've seen) are more spacious than any other college in Mumbai. They are well equipped with instruments and devices and are well maintained. Safety is also taken into consideration in each lab with first aid facility (which is something I haven't seen in many colleges). Our college also supports sports and extracurricular activities. We have various clubs and committees in college taking care of these activities.

Yes indeed. We have a huge and well connected network with the seniors. The alumnus are mainly pursuing MS in US, Canada or Australia and whenever they come to Mumbai, they would drop by to give lectures. We have our seniors in first-tier companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft etc who come and tell us about various placement trends in these companies.

The faculty is reputable and well versed with the various concepts to be taught in class. Besides good work in class and labs, they do conduct special lessons for doubts and practical lessons. They make sure all topics are cleared and the students do well in exams.
