Dislikes
- One major concern is the waste management system, which often falls short of maintaining a clean and sustainable campus. Improved waste disposal and recycling options are necessary to enhance the overall cleanliness and environment.
- While the college has a rich history, some facilities need upgrades. Certain classrooms and common areas could benefit from better maintenance and modern amenities to enhance the learning experience for students.
- While student engagement in politics is important, sometimes it can feel overwhelming or even excessive. There are moments when political discussions and activities go beyond healthy debate, creating tension among students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I love english. That's why I chose this course. Our curriculum is new so I still have to know more about it. The exams are easy. Our 1st semester exam haven't started so I don't know much. But our first internal exam was done and it was pretty easy.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know anything about it. I am a fresher. Many of our seniors got placement at large companies with high packages. And as per our new syllabus, we can get placement at any company in India and get high package deals.
Placement Experience
3rd year students are eligible for placements. Since our new syllabus is 4 year degree, we have an opportunity to work in any company in India. My plan after degree is to do post graduation and work at a publishing company
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is very less. The application fee was just 100 for OBC and general categories and ?50 for sc/st catagories. And when I joined, I had to pay only an amount less than 3000 for the first year . It included admission fee, tution fee, donation fee and many others.
Campus Life
There are a lot of festivals and parties arranged by the college union as well as the political parties. There are a wide range of books in our library. It's a really large library. We have a large stadium. Our college has made many outstanding sportspersons and athletes.
Admission
I didn't apply for any other college. The only college I applied to is Maharaja's college because I was pretty sure that I will get into it and I did. The admission process is pretty simple. You have to apply via online. Then, if your name is on the chance list, they will call you to come to college. Then, after considering marks and reservations, you'll get the seat accordingly.
Faculty
I'm from English department and it's amazing. Our tutors are really friendly. Seniors are also good to their juniors. No ragging cases. Almost all facilities are amazing as much as I know. But I headed from my friends that the tutors of political science department are not that good.
