- Seniors are very friendly and there is no heirarchical autonomy.

- The Attendance Policy is very strict as 75% is mandatory.
- In Labs also attendance is very strict nearly 100% is required.
Course Curriculum Overview
My Branch is Electronics and Instrumentation. As it is a core branch and circuital branch it has career options in both psus and corporate sector. Also it is not only based on coding like computer science it has real life practical examples like manufacturing of semiconductor chips. It is well relevant as we know how imprtant semiconductors are in the EV sector and all.
Internships Opportunities
There is a 4 week mandatory internship after 4th semester. Students can choose their personal domains and take help from clubs to get internships as required. Projects can be done using help of seniors and byforming suitable teams you are comfortablw working with.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements Various companies like TCS, DELLIOTE, L&T, TATA POWER, TATA ELXSI, CISCO, ASIAN PAINTS, JK PAPER, ACCENTURE, KFINTECH AND many more have offered 576 jobs in the academic year 2023-24 with highest paxkage of 42 LPA. The average package revolves around 5 lpa. I am preparing for GATE as i am more interested in psu jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total tution fees for a year for normal courses is 40,000 and for self sustaining courses like btech in cse or cse(ai ml) is 80,000. If you have got your seat in TFW category the fees will be half. For scholarships in 1st year if your jee rank is under top 10 perecent of your total strength then you will gwt 10,000. From second year onwards cgpa is taken into consideration.
Campus Life
There are verious fests and events throughout the year including perception which is the tech fest, xtasy which is the cultural fest where concerts are organized, engineers cup is the mega sports event .There are various books available in the library you can access them by issuing a library card.
Admission
This college takes admission through ojee counselling as it is a state goernment university. The counselling is based on you JEE all india rank. I chose this college as this is one of the reputed state government techinal institute in odisha and is situated in Bhubaneswar.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is different for different branches. The exam structure is based of internals which consist of 40 marks inlcuding midsemes of 20 marks and assignment,quiz and attendane consisting of rest 20 marks and end sems consisting of 60 marks. The exam struture i exlained is same for every semseter. Faculties are a bit strict aout studies but it also varies from branch to branch.
