Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am really interested in aerospace engineering as i love to study about aircrafts and rockets, like how their engine works, how they fly etc. Thats the sole reason i took this course. I cant comment on courses and their real world applications as the core courses have not been started yet (they start at 2nd year).

Internships Opportunities

5

You can do internship wherever you want (ofcourse with your own) but the institute also provides compulsory internships at fixed companies. Stipend that these companies provide are also decent. We can work on alot of peojects here

Placement Experience

5

I think from 6th semester people starts gettint placed (i am not sure as i am a fresher and i dont know much about placements). The highest package was 3cr and average was 20lakhs according to my knowledge and the percentage of students placed was around 90 percent. I plan on doing masters after i get my btech degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of 2 semester (1 year) - around 2.8 lakhs Tution fees - 1 lakh (per semester) Mess fees - 20 thousand (per sem) Hostel feel + gymkhana fees - 20 thousand (per sem) Fr SC,ST students, the tutions fees is completely remitted and but have to pay hostel + mess fees There are scholarships based on parental annual income, IIT bombay and alumni group has come up with FAP (financial aid program) which is cery helpful for students

Campus Life

5

In IIT bombay, there are two major fests. tech fest and mood indigo which both are the best in asia in their own domains. Both the frsts are organised during late december. The sports and extracurricular facilities are top notch. We have course named NSO in which we have to give 3 hours per week for the sports/instrument that we know ( there are trials). NCC is also there. Training camps are also held. All the clubs here are student run and they all are very good

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostels rooms are pretty small in 1st 2nd and 3rd year, but the hostel provided in 4th year is very good. Mess provides decent food and the menu also has some diversity in it The hostels and mess are very affordable (atleast by mumbai standards)

Admission

I applied for Mechanical engineering at IIT bombay and IIT delhi but my rank was not good enough to get those branches at those colleges. My 3rd preference was IIT bombay aerospace which I luckily got. IITs are alloted through JOSAA counselling and then the institutes release the date for offline reporting. In offline reporting the documents like id proof and seat acceptance letter are verified and then we are alloted our hostel rooms. And then seniors guide us through processes like course registration.

Faculty

5

Since in first year, the courses are common and hence the student to faculty ratio is high, but still if we have doubts we easily approach our professors in a particular time window. Also we have tutorial in which our Teaching assistants clear our doubts. Every faculty that teach me are good. The amount of quizzes/exams depends upon the courses and till now i found the exams to be moderately difficult

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placements are best and 100 percent from last 6/7 years. Our placement cell works as a team for getting placed to every cadet here. Most probably a batch needs 7/8 companies for getting placed. The college has the 100% placement, yes you have heard it right the college has full placement. Each and every cadets who gets graduate from her has a job in his hand with good income. I myself got placement in my 6th semester. My batch strength is 40 and 20 are placed already and some companies are already in line for select the cadets. February we are expecting Fleet Management Ltd. Company. We have an average offer of 600 dollars with no tax cutting.
