college campus is pretty big . it's around 62 acers and contains a football ground , cricket ground , tennis court ,an auditorium and a canteen
college has boys hostel inside the campus and girls hostel outside the campus
has own department for every branch and has a greenish plesent park

Dislikes

canteen food is pretty average and too crowded
there is nothing much to discuss about dislikes
there is nothing much to talk about dislikes either than that

for mechanical students there's an huge facilities to use like big labs and great coordination with lectures.and there are too many clubs like IEEE , ISTE , GDG on campus aspiring and cool clubs and they make us involve in some extra curricular stuffs

there are some internship offers from tcs , and other tech companies and 300+ companies visited . you can check it in college website there they've shown placement percentage, number or offers , students placed and much more.

Fees and Financial Aid

i paid 42866 as government fees and 24200 extra as collage fees through kea (kcet) for mechanical engineering course.for management quota 220000 fees will be taken for mechanical engineering course every academic year until 4 years (graduation)

Campus Life

campus is huge ,well maintained and aesthetic. there a fest called PESCO it's the biggest fest on campus it consists of dj nights , food fest andethnic day and another fest called kannada kalarotsava contucted by integrated clubs . college library has huge varieties excluding the syllabus books and has a great wifi connection

Admission

i opted PESCE because it's one of the top colleges in Karnataka,and only good college in mandya locality,I could have choosen some collages in Mysore but I didn't because I don't wanna waste time in travelling or staying away from home .and PESCE has an history of 60+ years

the faculty to students ratio is 1:20 some faculty are friendly and some are not.maths hod is best according to me because either the syllabus he teaches some moral strategies for life.pesce is an autonomous college

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided
