Course Curriculum Overview

4

I always wanted to be doctor in my life . So this was the course i prepared for . MBBS course will brush up my medical skills . And then will get admission in MD course The areas which it needs improvement.. is the toxic relationship between seniors and juniors in medical colleges and hospitals The long working hours without suitable rest and exams with lots of syllabus The frequency of exams is okay after 2.5 months .. and the difficulty level is also okay

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are no such companies for our course In mbbs course There is 4.5 yr of study with 1 yr of internship in the same college hospital. We get monthly stipened of 15000 in government hospitals but it should be increased as high tuition fees and long working hours

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall 1st yr fees - 1.5 lakh With increase in 10 percent every yr 2nd yr -165000 3rd yr - 181500 4th yr - 199650 Interndhip fees - 1lakh Fees of category like obc remains the same But for sc and st there is complete zero fees . Also they revieve scholarship fees

Campus Life

4

From this yr out college has started organizing fest named ENDORPHIN in September month And the other functions held are freshers , doctors day etc Large no. Of medical books are present in library but no journals In classrooms it is fully ac with projectors In our college Basketball ground , football ground , volleyball ground and badminton ground is present Various indoor games are also present like chess carrom board

Admission

I applied in all the government collegs of punjab in states of amritsar , faridkot , patiala and mohali And private colleges in rajpura and jalandhar . I got confirmed admission in private colleges and 2 government collegs . But i choose this college as it is near my home just 15 min away so no need for me to opt for hostels Yes i got rejections from patiala and mohali college. I couldn't make it as these colleges had higher cutoff . The eligibility criteria for my college is to Give NEET ug paper and get good rank and then apply for counseling process

Faculty

4

For theory classes there comes one professor for overall 125 students But for practicals the class is divided into 2 batches .. And for clinical postings there is a batch comprising of 14 students each. So it is easier to interact with professors. The faculty members i like include .. dr gursharan dhindsa . Anatomy department. He is very helpful. Dr sumit pal chawla , dr ravinder garg from mericine department .. they make the subject easier . Dr varun kaul from paediatrics Dr sandesh from obs and gynae department . Exam pattern includes- Term -1 exams 100 marks each Term -2 exam 100 marks each Sendups And then finals Only the finals marks are considered as final in report sheet

Other Applied Colleges

Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research - [PGIMER] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Nursing)

I got good marks in neet ug and got selected for mbbs

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum “is well-planned … as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines.” Practical classes are included daily alongside theory. “practicals are also included each day along with theory classes.” The AETCOM (Attitude, Ethics, Communication) component is explicitly mentioned, which is good because it shows attention to non-technical competencies. there are 4 levels of exams in a year — mid-terms, “send-ups,” etc. Some students feel the curriculum is stressful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The most fascinating thing is to know about the our body which works in a very complex manner and to understand the mechanism of working in our daily routine and they fascinate me to choose this course and well-being of the society and the people to cure the humanity and our college is the humanity service equality some of the teaching methods that is to show more practically along with the theoretical part would be quite more fascinating and interesting in this course and the frequency of the test and the exams which will be taken in our college is best as we can study because of that exams and prepare beforehand for the finals.
