Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is very good as it is clinically oriented and more stress is given on practical work rather than on theory.Theory is tested via exams which are very tough.Very systematic way of study is there

Internships Opportunities

1.5

Internship is of 6 months and a stipend of 15000 INR is given per month It is not enough as the intern have to work very hard day and night for 6 months without enough sleep and to ultimately get a stipend of 15000

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a government college so it has relatively low tuition fees.It has 187000 INR per year fee.The university also gives scholarship to some students who are way below the financial borderline Plus the job rate is very high

Campus Life

5

Overall my experience is very delightfull as my college life is going on very well The children are very smart and thoughtful There is so much fun in interaction with all of them as we share a common opinion on most of things

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel facility is not good.the warden is a fucked up guy We have to bribe him for literally anything we need and the washrooms are also very fucked up Overall the hostel is ok But can become way better if warden did his job

Admission

Admission is via NEET(national elegibilty cum entrance test) Cut off is 624 marks (out of 720) It's ranking is very high in Punjab therefore it's relatively very tough to get admission here Acceptance rate is only 1%

Faculty

5

Qualification of the faculty is very good Most of them are PG's (post graduates) With good marks and some of them are writing thesis.Other are usually SR senior resident or Jr junior resident.rest all are professors

Mbbs study is bit tough but you can cope up with it if you've good gompany to enjoy the phase of life. The curriculum is bit tad and vast. You need to work hard and smart to achieve it. Everyone have differ style for studying and everyone should deal with it their own. Don't see others and compare yourselves with them!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The new curriculum is too good because now its baaed upon competencies a medical studtent should achieve after graduating, which is necessary so indeed it prepare us for the real world applications The teaching method now used is mostly on ppt's which can be changed to a better mode like using boards to engage student in a better way according to me And the exams ,wether its formative assessment or send ups or the final exams are planned very correctly so that a student can prepare for the finals in a way that it doesn't build up too much pressure on the students
