Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is too much outdated and you must need to study subjects which you might not be interested in and is not relevant to your course. I chose this course because of my personal interest in it and like about some specific topics in curriculum. Curriculum doesn't prepare you for real world applications infact they teach you coding on turbo c++ which is too much outdated software.so you need to hustle on your own.and the frequency of exams should be reduced and there should not be any mid term 2.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies offers various internship opportunities across multiple companies. Here are some notable ones: Infosys: Software Development Intern Projects: Developing web applications using Java and Angular. Outcomes: Improved coding skills and experience in agile methodologies. TCS: Data Analyst Intern Projects: Analyzing large datasets to extract insights for client projects. Outcomes: Enhanced data visualization skills using tools like Tableau. The duration of internships at the Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies typically ranges from 6 weeks to 3 months, depending on the company and role. Some internships may also offer flexible durations based on project requirements and student availability. And i guess there is no stipends.

Placement Experience

3

From 6 th semester and onwards you will have time for internship and placement almost 4 th year is free just 1-2 minor project and assignment are there but you will get time to prepare for your campus placement and internship.not too much company cone here so you should be ready for off campus placement to but prepare your best skill yourself up and stand among your fellow classmates.they say avg placement is of 6lpa and highest is of 42lpa from Microsoft in cse 40-50% student get placed but you should definitely work on you skills it is must .

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year I paid about 150000 which includes 96000 of seat acceptance fee in ggsipu. And that is almost same for every year Like I saw notice in college regarding fee of 3rd year btech students which was of 130000.means we have to pay about 1.5 lac per year not semester wise.Yes there is various scholarships like EWS scholarship, merit based scholarship, private test based scholarship etc which easily pay you around 1.25-1.5 lac. There is no change in fee on the basis of category atleast in btech.

Campus Life

4

Campus life at Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies (ADGIPS) is lively and fun. Students can join various clubs, like cultural and technical groups, which help build friendships and connections. The school hosts two main festivals: Sangam in March, featuring cultural performances, and Technovation in September, focusing on technical skills through workshops and contests. The library is well-stocked with many books and online resources, making it easy for students to study. Classrooms are modern and equipped with technology that makes learning interactive. ADGIPS also encourages sports and extracurricular activities, offering facilities for cricket, football, and more. Student-run groups, like debate and photography clubs, add to the social life, while online portals keep everyone updated on events. Overall, ADGIPS provides a supportive and engaging environment for personal growth and a great educational experience.

Admission

i applied to various colleges in ipu according to my rank i got this but i was also getting lower branches in top colleges in ipu i didn't go for it because of my interest toward computer specific field and i was thinking that i have to go for higher education like master so it doesn't bothered me too much so i chose this college ,admission process is simple you have to apply for the ggsipu centerlized counselling which cost around 2500 rs in total and when you get a college allocated just pay the seat acceptance fee of 96000 and after final reporting you will be admitted in the institute and there is no ews reservation in this college but there is other cast reservation like sc st obc and all minimum 65% needed in 12th class. and you can easily get this college on 75 percentile above.

Faculty

3

faculty to student ratio is good and there is every faculty available yes you might find sometime that there is no faculty for 1-2 sub and they provide faculty in about a week this happens when a faculty leave the institute for any better option. relation with faculty is also good here they support you as well and are funny too .but they do not tolerate about attendance and misbehaviour.i personally like suresh sir he is our manufacturing faculty and he is lenient and funny too he dont mind attendance shortage upto a limit. and i dont like my maths teacher at all he dont explain well tough nobody explain well in college but he is to strict about attendance and about attitude. there are three exam in a semester mid term 1 mid term 2 and end sem mid term 1 include first half of the syllabus mid term 2 include second half of the syllabus and end sem include whole syllabus and mid terms are easy end sem are easy too but you need to study for that atleast 1 week

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.
