?The profession of being a doctor has always been my dream. Doctor can help the society in various ways, from treating people to giving awareness about various diseases, the doctor has a very important role.

Internship will be done at the college hospital. Internship is after the Final Year Professional exam. Internship is for one year and the stipend is around 30 thousand a month. Students will have to vacate the hostel and stay in the city

The annual fee is around rupees 60 thousand and the hostel fee is around 19 thousand. Including the all the fees of the college, total fees would be within 1 lakh but SC and ST category students need not pay hostel or mess fees. Hostel and the food are good. The weather is nice here. Education wise the college is much better.

• There will be annual college fest along with the graduation ceremony and there's also Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and also New Year celebration • There is a central library in the college and it has wide variety of collection of books • Classrooms have well placed desks and benches, there's a projector and screen, Mic for the teachers

The hostel is good here. Each room has 2 to 3 students. There's a cupboard. And there will be a table, chair and cot for each student. Each room has one washroom. Water will be available only in the morning and evening. Food here is good. Non veg twice a week

• I had applied to Bangalore Medical College, Mysore Medical College and Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences and i got a confirmed admission from Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences. I chose this college over others because this college was nearer to my home in Puttur, Dakshina Kannada. • I couldn't get into other colleges because I couldn't reach the cutoff of that college • Admission to Medical colleges is an online process and it is handled by Karnataka Examination Authority. The students are alloted to the medical college according to their NEET UG Rank and their Category. Students have to give an entrance exam inorder to get into medical colleges. The exam is NEET UG.

The faculty here are very supportive and we can always go to them for anything and everything. There will be 3 internals and one final university exam. The exams will be easy given that the students have the done the reading and are prepared well.
