PGDM Course Value

It's a great transformational experience that has made me both highly knowledgeable and creative by the end of the curriculum. I've participated in various college events representing the institute and have always ranked first because of the learnings earned here.

The course is highly transformational and filled with a lot of learning opportunities. The college provides you with 5 streams to opt for namely Marketing, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and Analytics. The whole curriculum consists of 6 trimesters filled with assignments, field projects, social projects, internship, events and a lot of engaging activities conducted by respective clubs of the mentioned 5 streams. The exam time is quite hectic as we have 2 to 3 exams on a single day, but after the first trimester, you get used to it. The overall vision of having such a hectic curriculum is to prepare the students for all the situation coming up in future building them as an effective manager.

Yes, both the placement and internship opportunities are provided by the college, although these activities are completely student-driven, but are supported strongly by the college. I personally interned with Oracle Stays Private Limited commonly known as OYO Rooms and also got a rich stipend. Also, I got placed in the placement drive conducted by the college in the month of November.

All the festival belonging to various cultures are richly celebrated, along with it we have host number of international events like TEDx, Josh Talks, OISCA Environmental Conclave and State management events like KMA meet, KT Chandy Memorial Speech, etc. The college also hosts a yearly national management fest named Quest.

In the era of expensive studies, XIME has a feasible fee structure of 13 lakhs for the whole course, which includes all your stationary expenses, hostel expenses, and Mess Charges, along with all other expenses like an industrial visit, WiFi charges, etc.

The college stands in the second list of colleges for a loan in banks, hence it's easy to get a loan for the program. There are two yearly scholarships provided by the college to the deserving students.

The college has a library, gym, and other facilities for the events like football, basketball, volleyball, etc. and college also has a cultural club that conducts the extracurricular activities at various points of time.

Being a residential program you are required to stay at hostel, you don't have option, but the hostel infrastructure is extremely high class, having all the facilities of television, water cooler, microwave, washing machine on every floor and double sharing room with attached washrooms, and all the essential furniture like bed, study table, chair, Almirah, Mirror, etc. The Hostel also has the facility for games like table tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, gym, etc.

The Alumni network is extremely strong and valuable, they are really very helpful in all needs and wants of there junior batches. The alumni are present in various leadership positions in prestigious organizations.

After scoring a decent percentile of 89 in MAT I got a call for the further process at XIME. I was given the slot on 21st March 2017 in the evening around 2:00 P.m. After reaching the college the required documents were verified and the college and curriculum introduction was given. The process included an Essay writing, a Group discussion followed by a Personal Interview. The whole process was rigorous and competitive.

All the faculties of various streams are highly qualified and have a strong industrial background. The visiting faculties are one of the most renowned people of the industry which helps the students to have a realistic knowledge of the industry via current case discussion and scenario analysis.
