Course Curriculum Overview

3

Earlier it used to combine all branches subject but now as new education policy course curriculum has changed as now you will get divided in different batches based on your department and you will study your department subject from first year as in CSE we get to learn DSA in second Semester which becomes hectic for students and there will me midsem after 2 month of starting of semester and then after 2-3 month endsem will takes place and you will have class test lab test viva during between midsem and endsem so continuous evolution is going on continuously

Fees and Financial Aid

We have payed around 2 laks 29 thousand in first year and in our second year we have paid fees around 2 lakh 36 thousand rupees Our college gives various scholarships to students based on their family income there is three categories of scholarships 100% tution fees waiver and 50% and 25% depending upon the family conditions There are some national scholarship too which can be availed by different students as my some of the class mates got that One of my batchmate got 100% scholarship from college they had taken a formal interview where they asked about their income proofs and verification if you qualify they will give the fee waiver depending on your condition There is one Edistrict scholarship to which can be availed by students of lower family income it's come from delhi government but it's didn't come very frequent it's for students studing in delhi universities . There are facilities of loan to in college as SBI branch in our college so they provide loan easily for students.

Campus Life

We have our annual fest like engifest and yuvaan and multiple society will provide multiple fest you don't have to think about this here here you will get many fest there is good sports facilities there is enter hostel inter college sports fest

Admission

I have got Confirmed Seat in Nit delhi CSE and nit jamshedpur ECE and Multiple nits I had around 12k rank in jee mains I chose dtu over them due to reasons like opportunity and location as dtu is in delhi and I used to stay in delhi so delhi was familiar for me rather than going to new place and I had known dtu comes after top 3 NIT I was not getting CSE in top 3 NIT so I had choosen dtu I got rejected from IIT Hyderabad because their cutoff was high I also wanted nit Allahabad but didn't able to got good branch like ECE or CSE Admission process is pretty simple just like NIT and IIT dtu and delhi college has common counselling round known as JAC delhi which is for these colleges you have to fill there and based on your JEE rank you will get college most preferred branch are dtu CSE nsit CSE and csai branches are pretty decent

Faculty

3

My faculties members were kind of chill as such because most of the faculty are understanding and so it will not much problem the faculty to student ratio is good not much I liked Anshul Arora sir he was our Math teacher in first and second semester he was great clear all our concept in class his classes were like teachers teaching in YouTube you will understand everything in class he was pretty accessible to students too he used to take doubt class too I have bad experience with Mr Manoj who teaches us DSA in Second semester he didn't give marks easily and is very rude he was kind of professor you see in movies like 3 idiot he don't give you marks if you will write algorithm he need full code but in class he will tell you can write algorithm so I had very bad experience with him I barely passed in that subject there is two mid sem and end sem and teacher takes individual test in classs and there will be lab test and viva in your lab .

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.

Placement Experience:

The placements are fantastic , many companies like google amazon and FAANG companies come here . Although i cant compare it with top IIT s but still a 25 lakh per annum package in CSE is still remarkable. The placement cell is often influenced by Placement coordinator but then DTU takes action against them and debar them from placements . If one does not get placement in DTU. , the DTU tag will obviously be more than useful in after course placements

Placements begin from 3rd year end and go on for the complete 4th year. Companies like ZS associates, google, amazon, juspay etc have visited the campus in the past. Highest package for the last year was more than 1 crore. Avg package is somewhere between 7-9 lpa. 50-60 % students get placemnt from the college including off campus placements. I plan to either start my masters or join a good job if possible as whatever situation arises at the end of my course at this college.
