Likes

I liked the hostel staff . Wardens are very friendly and take good care of students.
I liked the college environment. The infrastructure and green nature.
I liked my friends and my teachers .Lecturers are also friendly.

Dislikes

Less placements. Much skills are required if you have to get placed.
Worst teaching . Some of the lecturers even dont know the concepts. They come to the class and just read the ppt slides.
They dont take the students for industrial visits . Im currently in my 3rd year right now . They took us only for 1 industrial visit in 1st sem.

The curriculum provided by this college only gives you a GPA but not skills which the companies prefer . Difficulty level of examinations can be rated a 4 out of 10 . Teaching methods can be improved by replacing all the lecturers with more knowledge lecturers.

2 events takes place every year that is Revotsava and Founder's day . The books or the authors which the lecturers prefer will be available in the library . They encourage sports both for boys and girls.

Hostel Facilities

5 types of rooms are available ie , 1 sharing, 2 sharing, 3 sharing, 4 sharing snd AC rooms . 24/7 electricity , water and wifi will be provided . Many varieties of food will be provided . We can rate the taste a 6 out of 10. Hostel fee currently is rs.162000.

Admission

Ive joined this college after writing the KCET exam . I got this college after the counseling rounds . Compared to other colleges Reva have less number of cultural activities and less number of placements .

Faculty

There are many faculties. There are different faculties for each subject . Faculties are friendly . But most of them doesnt know to clear the doubts of students . I like the faculties who have good knowledge on the subject . I dont have any favorite faculty. In one semester, there will be 2 theory internals . 1 internal lab assessment and 1 external lab assessment. And finally a semester exam.

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Deloitte, Oracle and many tech companies like them are in agreement with our college for placements. Our college has a great placements opportunities as even after so many CSE students, 70% students every year gets placed with packages as high as 30 lakhs even.

a good college with good atmosphere and placements

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

I chose this college because I really like Bangalore, and the other reason is that it provides an excellent educational environment with a diverse spectrum of disciplines and a strong track record of placement. We are taken on excursions to learn about Indian geographical locations; what better way to gain knowledge but to do it practically?
