Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The aspects which influenced me is my parents their and my dream is to get into the medical field Finally i get this college which is near to my home town We most of the time get prepare to the real world when we get into clinical postings which starts fromm the second year there we get see the patients they take us to the ward , opd , and the ot andt the labour rooms . We get more cahnces to interact with the patints and to understand their problems. Every thing is good in the aspect of curriculum there is no need of improvement. The frequency qnd timing of the exam is three hours and the theory and practical will be conducted separately.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship will be started after the completion of the fourth year which will be for one year and we get the salary for that. We have different clinical postings subjects we get posted for that and we will get shifts according to our roll numbers. And it will be a very useful thung to get practice fully for our next exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

we should pay the fees of around 2lakhs 60 thousand that is one lakh seventy thousand is for the college fee which includes all the categories like university fee lab fee id card and all. And the hostel fee is eighty-five thousand. This is for the government fee and for the private seat it is 18 lakhs and for management seat, it is around 35 lakhs. The hostel fee is the same for all the students. The scholarships we should apply year wise and they will come within that year or in tbe next year we will get around 60 thousand.

Campus Life

3.5

The infrastructure is very beautiful they organised different fests. For interns, it will be a graduation fest and Ganesha fest also organise events which will be very colourful and most beautiful moments for the students and orientation programmes. Intercollege sports will be organised by the management and extracurricular activities like quizzes related to subjects and dances etc. We can participate in research and surveys which will be organised by the national medical council.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is very spacious and there are four floos in taht in one room three students will be there . The menu is good it will be repeated week after week registration process is same as the college . Facilities provided are cot chair and the study tables. And attached bathroom insude the room and we have seperate mess and seperate place to wash our clothes and we have gym for the exercise which is very organised .

Admission

When I got the result Ihave applied for the government colleeges and the private colleges. I got into this college in the first round itself. This college is near my home town and all the freinds and families suggested me to join thus college The admission process is very big we should give all the necessary documents to the kea from there they will send details to the particular colleges we should come ad get admission to the colleges the dates will be provided by them within that time span we should get admitted.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are very supportive and motivators during our course. The student-teacher relation is like friends. Dr Ramesh sir he is a pharmacology teacher. They are very kind and the best. Dr Ajay he is not very responsible he didn't take many classes which was alloted to him he used give reasons all the time and his teachings. Is not effective. We should write the three internal assessments and the final exam. In the first year we had 3 subjects that is anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry. At last they will take an average of these three internal assessments. We should get eligibility to get the final exam . And passing marks is 40 in theory and 40 in practical. Combining we should get 50 percent out 200 marks and the final exam is also the same. It is difficult to get clear the first year exams and we should do hard work for to pass into the second year and in second year we have three subjects pharmacology, pathology and microbiology here also the same criteria as the first year including marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS course is one of the courses that require at most hard work and perseverance. I had an interest to study about the human body and see how the medical life would be and after joining the course I realised how hard the course is. But since I could in the end help at least one person and make his/her life easier, I'm still moving on with the course doing the best I can. I feel all the doctors preparing for this course should take the course seriously as the lives of people are in our hands and every little mistake would cost.

Reviewed on Jan 3, 2022(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

• I chose this course as I liked Biology very much in my 11th and 12th and I also wanted to be a doctor since my childhood. • Faculty:student ratio in this college is well maintained. There is 1 faculty member over 25 students. • All the faculty are well qualified and experts in their fields. Some of the professors are functioning as scientists for the university and have reserved some patents for their researches. The teaching methodology is also very good and according to the latest norms set by the university. • Every year you have to go through some college-level exams ( Internal Assessment) three times. And you must score at least 50% as aggregate in each subject to be eligible to give the final University Exams. All the exams taken are as per the latest Revised Scheme for evaluation set by the university. On average the difficulty of exams is high. Regular studies and consistency can make anyone pass the exams .

Positive - Our college is located at hill station surrounded by greeneries. As we don't have more seniors and PG students we get more chances to learn on clinicals side. Negative - Our college is in Coorg, as we know coorg is more expensive. We have to survive in extreme climate conditions. Our college is still under construction.

College management is like all other college managements. Passing the buck was the usual game. We knew who to approach for what by the end of the year. There also seemed to be camaraderie among staff and management at some level depending who the dean or the principal was.
