Reality of IGU

I am commercian student and wanted to do graduation and in this university campus only m.com hons. 5years integrated program are available so i tale admission in this course before this I did know is it helpfull for me or not but now I think my decision is right as the teachers are not teach us only the subject material in the class but also they teach us about investment in the shares , also motivate us to take online courses which help us to personality development and also helpful at the time of job interview or PG Admision interview. But still the teaching methods of university needs to be improve as all are not perfect so the teachers need to taught us the practically also not theoritical and by using digital gadget so the students can make their full concentration on the study and they didn't feel bored. The exam level is not so difficult the students can complete his/her paper within the 3 hours it's the enough time for the students .

In regards to placements, on campus placement are not offered very much and companies which are coming to the university are not better sometimes they tak money from us trained and giving certificate and there will be no stiffened from them.

The yearly fees of my university is ?10000 in which ?7000 is for the tution fees, ?500 for caution fees , ?100 registration fees , ?100 for admission fees, ? 500 development fees, ? 800 lab fees and ?1000 for the other compulsory charges during the course completion . This is the fees structure of obc category students and same for the general category students but there is slit difference in the SC and ST category student's fees structure like they had ?8000 yearly fees which is divided in ?6200 for the tution fees , ?500 for caution fees, ?100 for the registration fees, ?100 for the admission fees , ?200 for the development fees, ?400 for the lab fees, and ?500 for the other compulsory charges during the course completion. We didn't get any scholarships and financial aids .

The only youth festival are organised in the university in the month of November after the 20th November and this festival were organised for 3 days. The books are available in the library for all the courses and also newspaper are also there but the latest books of any subject are not there these all are old book some of which are not useful to us like income tax book .Every department has there own sports days in the university. sports activities are organised differently for girls and boys and also teachers also participate in the games .They fully support us but the sports event is at very small level and also the number of students participated in the game are very less as the teachers never motivate students to participate in this and no other extracurricular activities offered on campus. From this year many clubs are introduced in our university like dance club sports club entertainment club etc. many of the student's also join these clubs there is no social group .

There is no much facilities are provided to us in our rooms . Only the basic facilty are provided to us like fan ,light, bed, study table and chair, and one almirah to each student that's all . The meal of the hostel is quite good atleast students can eat it . The menu is decided by the hostel resident themselves and after every month all the expenses on menu are calculated and divided among the residents resides in the hostel . The registration process of the university is really typicall . First of all the admission form of hostel which is of 3 pages are needed to submit in the hostel with the required document photocopy after that the list are out on the basis of distance from the University to resident adress filled in the form atleat student have minimum 55 km distance from University to their home . If your name is in the list u need to verify all the documents from warden and afterthat deposit the hostel fee and they allot u a room in hotel . Locality - IN IGU CAMPUS .

I applied in the KUK UNIVERSITY and in the IGU UNIVERSITY and I got confirmation letter from both the university but firstly I got the confirmation letter from the igu university and I take admission here also I pay the fees of hostel . The admision procedure of kurukshetra University is going very slow after the one month of my admission I get letter from that university but the fees I already paid are not refundable . No I didn't get any rejection from other universities the reason is also that I applied only for two colleges as my parents allows me only for these two . Firstly, we required to register on its official website by uploading all required documents after that university conduct his own entrance exam on the basis of which admission is taken . Cut off list is out after that students have name in the list can go for the admission , after deposting all required documents or course fees can get their admission .

The facility is quite good as I mentioned before they always help us on our studies . But we didn't have faculty for all subjects sometime the PhD scholar teaches the students I liked the Deepak sir who teaches us business law . I like him beacuse of his teaching method and he also ask the questions from the students so he can get feedback. I didn't like hariom sir who teaches us accounts because he only teaches the theory not the practical and the account is the subject of the practical question and whenever he check the exam sheet the whole classs get re in his subject . Talking about the exams then there is 5 minimum and 7 Maximum exam are conducted by the student in each semesters . The question paper is quite easy . There are 4 units in each subject and we need to do one question from each unit. The failing ratio is more here due to the checking and marking of exam is very degraded . The subject material are taught to us is releated with our course.
