Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is actually good compared to other institutions as this University is trying to implement more and more modern day syllabus and curriculum! More industries oriented requirements are being fulfilled by SDP(skill development program). On the scale of 5, it would be appropriate to give 4/5.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college does not provide any own internship but yes, they do promote Students to take up internships and projects, so thus, as well in terms of students! The college even has an entrepreneurship development cell that helps students achieve goals via monitored mentoring by own choice of faculty! On a scale of 5, it would be appropriate to give 3.5/5

Placement Experience

4

For engineering field, various IT company do visit for recruitment and hire a handsome amount of students with an average 7L pa package. Various marketing executive does visit the college for placement for an MBA student. So on a scale of 5, it would be appropriate to rate 4/5

College Events

5

Each department organizes it's own fest every year. And has different names. The college annual fest was known as REVAMP which will from 2019 be known as Revotsava. Apart from this, freshers day and the farewell day is observed by each department and various sports keep happening in college. So overall, for co curricular activities is a perfect 5/5.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For students who acquire seats via KA CET, the college fee is 55000 and a building redevelopment fee of 35000 accounting to 90000 a year. Apart from that, the student needs to pay the exam fee of 5000 per semester and hostel fee may vary from 1.1L to 1.4L

Fees and Financial Aid

There aren't any scholarship offered by the college. But yeah loan can be availed by applying in any bank, the college itself doesn't have any such scholarship facilities, but government scholarship is provided for weaker sections like SC/ST.

Campus Life

5

There are various extracurricular activities that keep on happening College, students are encouraged to take up various sports for interdepartmental competition, and labs are equipped with modern amenities. The library is a world class with RFID tag readers and ample books to read for all departments.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

As mentioned earlier, the college is known for its infrastructure which is sure shot 5/5. World class library, a huge playground, best hostel in town, a decent mess food, and smart classrooms makes the infrastructure an above par level!

Alumni/Alumna

College is implemented with NO RAG POLICY, so junior senior interaction is quite good. Being a senior in college I do feel the college has maintained a good atmosphere among students which in turn is very important!

Exam Structure

For every branch, there is 3 internals of which best 2 are considered as internal marks. The quality of the paper setting is professional. The final paper is of 100 marks which are taken in the proportion of 60 to add with 40 marks of internal and SGPA is given. The exam fee per subject is 200 and for revaluation, it is 3000. They are simply looting money in terms of revaluation.

Admission

As this college is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, you'll need to have a KAR CET ranking to get government seat, or else, COMEDk is to get a seat. There are institution private seats too, for which you need to pay a hefty price!

Faculty

3.5

The faculty are well versed in their own field and have a knowledgeable sense of subject they teach. On demand, the faculty can be changed according to the request of students! They are in too by either double degree! On the scale of 5, it would be appropriate to give 3.5/5.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
