- I liked the seniors of the college, they were very supportive and helpful towards the freshers unlike other colleges, I haven't had any ragging experience throughout.

Dislikes
- there are very restrictions for the students in the first semester and they are not even allowed to roam in the campus freely.

Course Curriculum Overview
I have been passionate about the Computer Science course and i am loving in studying what i am interested in. the curriculum not only teaches us about our subjects but also helps us in developing communication skills, project managment and entrepreneurship skills. There are various practicals and workshops to give us practical real world knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
The college have a very active training and placement centre. They start providing stiudents with the internships opportunities as soon as they complete their first semester. There are many projects given to us to gain our experience and at last help us in our interviews.
Placement Experience
Students from third semester can approach to companies through college for internships and from third year they can apply for campus placements. the highest package for this year was 1.71Crore and average was around 15lacs for CS department. 90% students are getting placed and some are going for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are an OBC category student like me then you have to pay 62500 per semester as academic fees and 25000 for hostel per semester. For a general category student he/she has to pay 96000 per semester and the hostel fees remains unchanged.
Campus Life
THE NAME OF THE ANNUAL FESTIVAL AT NITH IS HILLFAIR AND MANY EVENTS ARE ORGANIZED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. We have a very huge library with a separate reading buildung, we have around 100000 books of various courses at the library. We have smart boards in our classrooms with projectors. We have a sports complex at our college.
Hostel Facilities
There are around 12 hostels in our college 8 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel. In the first yer we are alloted with three and four students sharing a room. The mess food is good , they have a fixed menu built by our representatives in Mess Committee.
Admission
I was getting a seat at NIT in Electrical Engineering but I have always been passionate about the technical field. the college requires at least 75% in class 12th and for getting into CS the cutoff is 99%ile in JEE MAINS.
Faculty
the student to faulty ratio is not very good but is fine , its approximately 50:1. i liked most of my faculties cause of their supportive nature , few of them are --- Meghna Mam (Computer Science Department) Jyotsna Mam (Mathematics Department) Zareena Mam (Communication Department) we have mid semester and end semester exams and teachers take an evaluation test monthly to let students clear their doubts in the respective topics.
