All about C.V.A.Sc. pantnagar

Course is quite interesting, as it includes complete study of animals along with clinical practices. In veterinary hospitals we study real cases. But course is quite lengthy and hectic sometimes, you get very less time for yourself.

Almost everyone gets job after this degree, but job depends upon placement status. If you prepare for government exams you will receive good salary but joob will be on outskirts.private jobs are also good including field work starting from 40,000. Job opportunities are many but schedule is hectic.

Placement result is good. Almost everyone get placed in fieldwork, some students prepares for jrf and some also applies prepares for VO i.e. veterinary officer. My plan is to prepare for jrf and to complete my pg from gynaecology.

Anual fees depends on year, in first year i paid around 1,12,000, which includes 50,000 tution fees, 40,000 mess fees, 600 hostel room and i get a scholarship of around 40,000 from nsp portel for income certificate

Campus life is okay okay. Many extra curricular opportunities including athlete meet for students interested in sports,. 1 concert per year, kisan mela twice year. But this place lacks good market, good restuarants, surrounded by trees. Environment is non polluted.

Hostel faculty are sweet, specially people in mess. But for girls hostel warden may be strict. Food quality is not so good. There are very less to no options in breakfast. You have to eat aloo paratha daily. For hostel registration you will receive a form online on ams portal during your admission process. 3 students get 1 room in first year. From second year 2 students per room.

Placement results are very good in this field and there is very less competition compared to others fields in which my colleagues are studying. Environment is quite safe as no transports are allowed for students other than cycle. For admission apply for gbpuat ug entrance exam or get admission via vci neet.

94 student batch is devided into 3 groups for lab experience. Mostly professors are experienced. Theory classes are good but labs are not so well developed. Lack of equipments for large number of students so they becomes crowded . Exam includes 3 internals and 1 external per year, for internal , 2 are important to attend.
