Our college is good and better than the other colleges

Yes, I have one complaint. Its located on GT road we don't have any cinemas or a good place to hang out when we are free or not in a mood to study so its a difficult task we have to go to Panipat for such activities which 20 km away from college.

Interview

This college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University. I don't like the course curriculum because courses are outdated. If we talk about the MBA course it is also 8-9 years old And no changes are done in it. However, most of the other universities courses are modern industry oriented

It has been proven that this college holds the number 1 position in North India regarding placements. Many companies like Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Oracle, Reliance, etc, visited for drives on the campus. More than 120 corporate houses have recruited students from PIET. The college was awarded for best placements in 2013,2014 and 2015. All the three wings of Indian Defence Services Recruit students from PIET.

The main college events are CARBUNCLE, An event organized for the newcomers i.e freshers every year with a number of cultural events. Also out of newcomers Mr. fresher and Miss Fresher are selected. MAESTROS It is an annual Inter institute Technical and Cultural fest, various events like dancing, singing, poetry, quiz, poster making, etc are conducted. Annual Sports Meet is also held. PIET Quest is also organized every year for the students of schools and polytechnics. A 3 days event where nearly 75000 from 350 school colleges participate. National level seminars and workshops are also organized on a regular basis.

Fee Structure is Very feasible. It is not very expensive. In the whole north region, This college is having a reasonable fee structure if we compare it to other Private colleges. In this college, you can do MBA in just 3-4 lakhs as compared to other colleges where the fees package goes very high around 10 to 12 lakhs.

Though I have not availed any one of them. But both are available. One of my friends has availed scholarship but there are certain terms and conditions for it to continue such as the semester should be clear or ur scholarship is taken back.

The labs are in good condition and lab attendants are okay the sports activity is good the college faculty are always helpful to participate in extracurricular activities. But the library staff is worst at our college, they don't have manners to talk to students.

Not much. But I have seen them visiting the college and talking to current students. They also teach us about their experience and tell us the tips to get placed in MNCs. Some are placed in big companies so it's really helpful and we can easily interact with them too

I got admitted to PIET through the jee exam. My All India rank was 258000. The main reason I opted for this college is it is in the top ten colleges of the NCR region. The infrastructure, faculty, Labs are excellent. Also transport facilities from nearby cities even from Delhi is available. Moreover, the college has a very good placement and Academic record. It is far better to other colleges that I could have got admission with 100000th rank. Also, it is affiliated to Kurukshetra University which is A grade University.

It depends on us as to how we pursue our college life here. Alumni from IITs, NITs, and other prestigious colleges are working as teaching staff. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders. They use 3d projectors, models and other types of equipment to give theoretical as well as practical knowledge. As seen in magazines, students are taken for industrial visits frequently.
