Positive remarks: The infrastructure is really superb. The college is very clean even the washrooms. There's a lift present to have access to every floor easily. The teachers are really helpful. Negative remarks: random pick fights

Entrance Exam, Merit List

The course curriculum is pretty decent. We have a total of 4 years of course. It has 8 semesters and a total of 56 subjects. Per year two semesters are held. Every semester, subject changes. We are provided with books from the college library. At the end of each semester, an exam is held. So two exams per year.

I haven't yet reached the place where I am called for placements. I am still in the second year. But I heard the placements aren't as they promised. Only a few brilliant toppers get away with good placements the rest they either get an underpaid job or look for entrance exam related jobs.

There's no end to events in our college. Firstly every year we hold a huge TECH FEST and CULTURAL FEST. These two are the biggest events in our college. Then there are workshops being held every other week. We basically try to conduct something every occasion. For example independence day, Saraswati puja, etc.

The fee structure is very expensive according to me. If you enter through decentralized counseling the fee structure is huge. If you enter through wbjeeb counseling the structure is a little from the other one but still expensive.

There are lots of ads throughout the college about scholarships for abroad studies. Unfortunately I never really noticed them carefully because I am not really into that stuff. So yes they promote lots of scholarships.

Labs here are excellent. The labs here are also very clean and neat and we are never "out of anything". There's always plenty for everyone. We have a cricket field. We have a football field a basketball court and a swimming pool so a lot of activities and sports are carried out.

No, I haven't opted for Hostel. I travel daily from home to college. It's about 1hour 15minutes from my home by a direct bus. My parents wanted me to opt for a hostel and I decided not to because I wanted to be in a PG.

Um, to be honest, no. Yes, they are helpful of course but there are constant pick fights going on every other day. The seniors constantly keep dominating their juniors and this is applicable to every year. So the first year students are always the saddest.

From an entrance exam which is held by the college itself so fill up the left out seats after wbjeeb and jee counseling. I had to be present there for the entrance exam. If was an offline exam. The exam was an MCQ type. They had a mark criterion to qualify.

The faculty is also decent. The professor is educationally very qualified moreover they are very helpful. They are always ready to help you. The labs here are also very clean and neat and we are never "out of anything". There's always plenty for everyone.
