Life at Miranda house -By a Mirandian

The syllabus is not doubt vast .But it is all related to what you have studied previously.As new education policy focuses on practical learning and approach so yes things are there which are based on this concept but they are very less in number ay be in the upcoming years things will get better.

No internships are available for first year students but definitely for second and third years . Internships of different types are there all having different eligibility criteria, working needs and stipends.

The placement cell of the college is very active.Various renowned companies like de shaw, Accenture ,amazon come here to hire employees. The average package of the college is about 7 lakhs per annum and the highest package was about 20 lakhs per annum for last year .But very less students go for placement most of the students go for higher studies

My college name is Miranda house nirf ranking 2 ( in the year 2024)and has already been at nirf ranking 1 for consecutively 7 yrs. My course fee was 19500 rs per year and the total fee for course is 58500 rs.According to the facilities provided by the college the fee amount is justified and it is much lower than that of other colleges but it is increasing every year

The campus life is amazing.A lot of societies are there almost regarding everything.Debating ,dance ,music societies and adventure societies are some exciting societies. If we talk about fest ,the yearly fest named as tempest is hosted in Miranda house.It generally happens in the month of April . Other than fun a most needed thing for study material n books we have a beautiful library having more than 1 lakh of books .

The admission process for our college is through cuet .The cut offs for this college generally go very high . This college was at the top in my preference list because of several reasons.One of the biggest reason was it's nirf ranking.It is really affordable.In comparison to other colleges the fee is much lower.The environment of this college always push you to be your best

My views about faculty members are mixed .Few faculty members are little rude but generally maximum faculties members are good .They are polite.No doubt all faculty members are highly skilled and superb in their fields. As far as exams are concerned, internal assessment keeps going on after every 1-2 chapter and semester exams at the end of each semester.
