Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum followed for the 2021 batch is the CBME curriculum. This is more of a student orientated curriculum. It helps us in real world applications and for further academic pursuits The exams are yearly final exams along with 3 internal assessments throughout the year.

Internships Opportunities

5

We have internship opportunity in our college at the end of 4 years. It is compulsory to complete this particular internship. We also have rural community medicine posting included in that 1 year of internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for YMC for the 2021 Batch was 17.5 lakh. The fee for the last year (internship) is 10lakh along with a stipend of 12k. This yearly fees also includes the hostel fees. At the end of each month a separate Hostel maintenance fee have to paid.

Campus Life

5

We have a fun filled cultural fest held every year. It is a 4 days event filled with fun and excitement! It is the most awaited event of the year. We also have a sports meet held annually. This looks into both sports and other extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel rooms are very neat and clean. We have Akkas to clean our room everyday on time. The hostel mess food is pretty good compared to other colleges in South India. We have both veg and nonveg given in alternate days.

Admission

This college has the best faculty and well experienced doctors from all over the country. This makes it better than most other colleges in the southern part of India. It also has great patient inflow. That's why I chose this college.

Faculty

5

The faculty here at YMC is well experienced and professional. The number of post graduates are also high. This helps in the teaching process especially in the clinical side beginning right from the 2nd year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is based on practical scenarios and very relevant since doctors need to understand real life scenarios inorder to treat patients. Curriculum includes OSCE and certified skills that prepare students to become good doctors. More individual attention and skill development can help students understand topics and mould into good clinicians.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application . Personally for me the curriculum started on September and we had our first internals in January 2nd around March third round me and we had a final exams in August Honestly speaking MBBS is not an easy course , it is really hard, you need to understand the core, and then applied to even in theory and practical exams. concept
