Course Curriculum Overview

I thought that mechanical engineer have more opertunit to getting placed in government sector. 8 month classes and 4 month semester break.2month classes then mid sem and again after 2 month semester exam will be conducted and then 2 month break. This is repet for next semester.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 35400 per year

Internships Opportunities

Collage give compulsory 2 internship in 2nd year semester break for 1 month.and it is mandatory to all student . The student can do more internship and collage gonna help the student and give recommendation certificate.

In 6th semestar the student are eligible for campus placement. The company like TATA , JSW , L&T , TCS ,AMAZON , Aditya birla etc are come in campous placement. The highest placement in our collage is 83 LPA in McAfee. And a student gate placed in amazon in 43 Lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Collage fees per year 35400 rupees include all type of fee like semester resistation , bus , sports , lab fee etc.Those student are getting hostel they will pay 38K rupees for per year(2semester).The SC,ST student get 78K rupees scholarship from Odisha government.General and OBC student get 20K rupees from odisha government.

The name of the anual fest is xtasy held in the year of december and January month. In our collage there have so many books for free for the student. all of the student can take books for study to home. In our collage have so many collage like SAE,Energy club , photography,zarzia, coding ninja etc.

Admission

I apply this collage because of it is in bhubaneswar and it has good transpoting. Good placement very good cultural fest . The best state government collage in Odisha Also comes company like tata, jsw,l&t, google, microsoft etc.

The fecult member are decent , some fecult member are very good and teaching style is like awesome. The student and feculty ratio is 1:30. Pare year there are 4 exam 2 mid sem exam and 2 semestar exam. Mid sem exam carry 20 marks and semestar exam contain 60 marks and rest 20 marks are given on the besis of assignments ,quiz and attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

According to recent placement statistics, the highest package offered at the college is around ?9.2 LPA, while the average package is about ?4–4.5 LPA. In the 2024 placement session, about 682 students were placed out of 803 graduating students, which shows a strong placement performance. The median salary for many programs is around ?6.5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
