Societies are very active and professors and seniors are very helpful. It really plays a major role for over-all curriculum development apart from core academics
College campus is huge and comforting. Group discussions and meetings are very common

Course Curriculum Overview

My course requires a lot of labwork and much analytical aspects of microbiology and research related stuff is important. One needs to be a keen observer, morally sound and patient with work. Academics are not to be taken lightly.

Internships Opportunities

For other courses like Computer science and Management studies I think there are many career prospects outside but for my course there are online internships provided where students can take part via laptop and post research projects or apply for internships

Hello everyone, myself Ayushi Priya... I'm from Ram Lal Anand College Delhi University South campus. I'm currently pursuing Bsc Honours Microbiology and Research. This place is quite nice. The departments are very career oriented and provide placement cells and opportunities. The societies are immensely active and focus on the overall development of the student apart of academics. The seniors as well as the professors are quite helpful. The fees for first year Microbiology is Rs. 22670. I've heard that it increased by a thousand this year. However this may be due to ongoing research projects in our college . For the other departments.... The fees differs. For BA honours it may go as low as 15k and for Bsc CS it may reach heights like 75k yearly. Overall it's worth the money and time invested.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very nice. The college is quite big and has 3 floors . Elevators are provided for both students are teachers and other staff. There is a girls common room. Water taps with cold water are provided. Amphitheatre and seminar room are also fully furnished

Admission

I had first chosen Gargi college for microbiology but I've heard that Ram Lal Anand college has good faculty for microbiology. Also there are many research projects which are either completed or are currently undergoing. The aluminis are also good

The faculty at my Microbiology department is quite nice. The professors are very approachable regarding any sort of issue and they are keen to teach. There are 60 students in my department which is quite high compared to previous years

My course is very nice and mostly acceptable in big multinational companies and firms. The whole world is moving towards AI and computers. So jobs in this field are high. And I also had a good interest in computers. That's why I chose this course.

Placement is not that great as I hear it's around 400000 to 500000 annum after 3 years of graduation companies like wipro TCL etc. highest package as I know is 22lpa in 2023 75% students places I will pursue further studies after graduation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

My tale of andc

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have pcm in 12 th and in also subjects i am best in chemistry so that's why I choosed it . And andc is mostly a science course college it has mostly science courses only . It has good labs facility most necessary for my course. We have exams per semester only which are average not much hard or easy .

from probably the 3rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments, infotech i think came to our college as far as my knowledge goes, the avg package that im aware of is 3-4.5LPA, which is decent in terms of placement after bachelors, my plans although are to pursue higher education since the package mentioned is not good in my eyes

I applied for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and central university of Rajasthan(CURAJ) other than delhi university. I got confirmed admissions in all these three universities but I chose to continue with delhi university and Hansraj College. I didn't got any rejectiona from any toher collegea and universities that I applied for. So it's a good thing. The admission process to get in here is as follows:- 1) Clear the cutoff for you course and university by giving the CUET-UG exams for undergraduate courses. 2) Go into the counselling process and select your desired courses and college or university. 3) Depending on your socre that you obtained in CUET UG exam you will be allotted the college and course. If you wish to change you can opt for the counselling in the other rounds as well. As there are multiple rounds of counselling are conducted. My overall admission process was vey smooth without any major issues. Just trust yourself and you will land in best colleges of the country....Read More

I chose this college because it comes under Delhi University and has a decent reputation for my course. I applied for all the top colleges of DU and my marks was also sufficient for the allocation of that colleges but unfortunately I made mistake in making my preference list that's why despite of having good marks I got allotment of this college. But now I'm satisfied with my alloted college. No it was my first allotment and I fridged my seat in the first round that's why I didn't get rejected.
