I did not avail any quota and belong to the general category. The minimum age is 17 and the maximum is 20. The minimum marks vary depending on how the students have scored. The admission process was fairly simple. Approximately 1 month after the exam, an initial list of 85 students was declared from which the top 50 were eligible for admission and the rest were on the waiting list who would be eligible for admission in case of any vacancy. Most importantly I do not regret my decision as its a great institute. I did not have any quota, however, there are reservation of seats in the institute. The admission process is a little difficult. They have a separate entrance exam which has olympiad level mathematics. The minimum age is 17 and maximum is 20. Also, in order to sit for the exam you need to have english and mathematics in +2.
