Likes

There are very large no of faculty. And the campus and placements are good . I love it's laboratory rooms and equipments.
The hostel works in progress and doing very fast . With 1 year the college have 500 to 1000 seats in hostel
It's teacher are best in clarification of doubts.

Dislikes

Very small amount of hostel rooms for 1st year only.
Sports ground is large but have long Grass so difficult to play
It's front gate is in construction for 6 months

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical engineering is the best course in this college. It has highest number of faculty and teachers. Many companies persuaded this college for electric engineering. Previous year it has 161 offers for only 120 students and the highest pakage given to the student is also in Electrical Engeneering

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Amazon,Tata, Infosys, Birla Group,and many more big companies also persuad this college to give students oppertunity to do intership and placements every year . This year Amazon has given 44LPA pakage to a student which is the highest pakage this year .

Placement Experience

Very good placement opportunities of avarage pakage of 7 Lack per annum.Many companies 2nd choice is this college after NITR so it's better to study hear . And many Gate qualified teachers are also hear who can give you advice how to clear gate

Fees and Financial Aid

It's one year fees is Rs 45400 all included. And you have pay Rs 1200 for Hostel meals monthly and 10000 for Hostel room yearly. The laboratory rooms are big and all knowledgeable equipments are present there. It's best college in Odisha after NIT Rourkela

Campus Life

It has many club's like Dance ,Drama , Vollyball, Football, Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, Music, Research and Development which are really good in their own . And the senior are very good who will guide you in these club. And clut festival also happens every 1 year hear

Admission

First of all it's in the location. It is situated in Bhubaneswar which is the capital of Odisha so many intership and campus placement are offered. And it's teacher are so good because my brother also completed Mtech from this college

Faculty

Best faculty ever I have seen . Friendly facilities . The lab facultys are very knowledgeable and good at explaining things and the teachers are also good at teaching and solving life problems which you can easily share.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
