Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

so basically we all know AI is every where . without that nothing can be comprehend nowadays. provides better and vast opportunities in this field. like for payment we have upay methods, can transact money directly from bank without carrying cash everywhere. indian system for this field need a lot of improvement. instead of focusing more on theoretical conecpts, they should start teaching practically, becuase that will help to get to know mpre about the topic. labs need improvisation , need a smart class method way of teaching. according to me, instead of theoretical exams there should be analytical and practically aptitude tests after every topic. and level should on increasing by the time. so we can adapt that easily.

Placement Experience

2.5

after 7th semester student are eligible for the placements by the college. only 6-7 tech companie visit to our college and avg placement goes upto 5-6 lpa and highest upto 10-12 lpa. rest off campus provide much facility. after completing course one can make more that that, all u need is to enhace ur skill. my plan after getting degree is to make into a high tech company or won't mind in further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

i got admission in Delhi University in Indraprastha College For Women this year. so basically this is my 1st semester goin on. i am pursuing Bsc. Computer Science and paid 50,625 for 1 year. fees is same for all, no reservation has been entertained for the same. the course is for 4 years. till now i didn't get to know about any scholarship aid from the college itself. every year fees will be going the same or maybe can decrease a bit. still admission is going on so they didn't release the structure for 2024-25 only the annual amount which has been paid during admission is 50,625.

Campus Life

2.5

every year we held annually fest in the month of feb-mar. celebrity has been called up. we have a good library consisting of every books or journals, one can access any study related books there. as already mentioned we comp sci. even don't have good working computers in the lab. we use to carry our own laptops if needed. college is more about fun so yeah we have many clubs, societies related to extra currricular activities.

Admission

i did apply for ipu and jac but didn't make into. coz they need jee marks n i didn't make it upto the eligibilty criteria. so gave cuet entance exam by which i got DU, Indrapratha College For Women. college is the north campus. required 467 around out of 800. n i got 557 out of 800, in the 1st rount. still adms process is going on. n to get into DU, CUET is mandatory for the admission.

Faculty

i'm fresher so don't know much about the faculty . but like recently, in our core subject we have 3 teachers with us for 1st semesters. so like i don't think they are upto the mark for the students. professor for mathematical computation is still ok. rest i didn't find them good in respect of the teaching. otherwise they are good by nature and helpful even, no doubt. we have additional gec, sec aec and vac as subjects due to NEP. faculty of those are good . they teach very well. concepts get crystal clear that time only. computer science hounours is for 4 yrs now, so we'll be having 8 semesters so 8 exams for the entire course. so for 1st semester we'll be having exam from December. so don't know much about the difficulty level. but from my view exam become difficult when u don't clear your concepts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
