Likes

I liked the new building of my college . It's amazing but it is not open now.
I liked the physics lab is air conditioned and the faculty of my course is also best
I liked the auditorium of my college. There is around 400 students seats at a time and it is also air conditioned

Dislikes

Water quality is too bad . Student bring water from their home or buy water from canteen
The infrastructure of old buildings is bad. There is crack in its old building
Canteen is not too good. Canteen of other colleges is better than mine.

My course is mostly is practical course. There is practicals in my course. A student have choice in all the three subjects in future for post graduation physics chemistry mathematics. If a student is confused after twelfth which subject is pursed for graduation than I suggest my course is best for his or her

Acc. To me in my course there is no placement in my college but in commerce like bcom course the student got average package of 8 lakh depends on the students Cgpa capabilities and knowledge also. But there is no placement in my course.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid the amount of 13000 approx in first and 15000 around in second year and 16146 this year. Fees increasing every year The registration fees for the examination is based on which subject u brought means practical fees for every subject is 400 and for theory it is arund 200 Yes there is scholarship for sc,st and OBC .

Campus Life

My overall experience with campus life is good. There is so many fest and freshers and farewells is held but I don't involved in any club in my college and the infrastructure of my college is good when I look my new building but it's also bad when I look my college old building

Admission

Actually I gave cuet for the first time and the rules is not ready my me. That why I applied for this college by mistakenly and it's by mistaken added on top that is why I can't be able to upgrade this college and course also.but in present I loved my course and college also.

Faculty

The faculty of my college and college acc. To me is the best faculty. Teachers are really sorry helpful and calm. I respect my teachers is really sorry good and supportive. They are friendly with students. The faculty of my college is well educated and the best faculty

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

College and my 1st year

Likes

All girls college not male allowed in there without permission so everything feels right and safe
Conducts annual fests to change the vibe
Gotta know different types of people from different places

Dislikes

Student often get used to bad habits like smoking and drinking
To many protests everyone is doing protest even for the smallest inconvenience
Some teachers doesn't complete the syllabus they left it and students have to study on their own

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I wanted to choose physics honours with somehow I felt physics will get me to hard as per by 12 so I choose chemistry honours over physics honours and as if I am doing bsc so yeah it is giving me all the Chemistry by and I feeling alrighting am a learning will help me for job one day the classroom here are very small and very uncomfortable to set and study only thing for teaching I want to change for my department is the classrooms and examination schedule date sheet is also very bad for Delhi University like they change the date sheet 4 to 5 times within a month and till the one is not confirmed so yeah that's things

Dream college or not ?

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

this course is not bound to a particular subject or field. you can go to different fields after pursuing this course. curriculum is good it helps students and practicals are performed in labs which gives a real life experience difficulty level of exams is very moderate and you can pass the exam easily pyqs are repeated oftenly

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Intro to DSEU

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
