Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is pretty good. It covers all the important topics a computer science engineering requires along with soft skills such as technical communication. The teaching methods can be improved but the other stuff is pretty good!
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for each year is 1.3L and it has an additional fees such as examination fee, University fee etc which amounts to 6,500 and also the fees for records and manuals is about 1,500.Students with an ews certificate get 30,000 scholarships and students under 10,000 rank in eamcet get full scholarship from the government.NRI quoata seats costs 4L per year.
Campus Life
The social groups in college are diverse. There are different kinds of people with different vibes. But all in all the college has a pretty good social circle . It needs to work on its sports and extracurricular activities but the library is stacked with books and provides a nice environment to study too. The fests in college are decent too but can be improved. To be honest college life is pretty simple here without much going on and also not too boring so yeah the college life is worth it over here!
Admission
The other option I had was NGIT which is also a pretty good college and had cheaper fees but MVSR is considered a top 10 EAMCET college with really good placement history while NGIT is a sister branch of KMIT and I wanted something bigger and better than that!
Faculty
The faculty itself is good and approachable but the faculty to student ratio is high. The CSE department and Science and Humanitaries faculty is very good. About an average of 20-30 students fail in a class of 70. The exams have a moderate difficulty. The curriculum is just perfect though.
