Course Curriculum Overview

2

The only thing that influenced me to take yhis cource is that everyone takes it and to get a decent paying job but seriously with this curriculum i don't even know why im learning all these stuff I've recently realised that focusing and developing coding skills on specific topic is more than enough to secure a job With this curriculum i mean my college teaches every subject thats possible to learn in this period of time of engineering but seriously they don't get companies which requires these subjects so maximising on subjects and only learning basics and getting grades on just remembering stuff is not of any use Every year if they ask us to choose a specific part where we want to excel in could help us get real job There's no timing for exams sometimes the syllabus will not even be taught and we learn everything by ourselves its all about that but what are we paying tuition fee for?? these skills of mugging up for some grade's which will be lost in a day is of no use to secure a job

Fees and Financial Aid

I got 12k as eamcet so i had to pay 1.35 l as tuition fee and every year for registration fee i had to pay 5000 Then for every semester i had to pay 1300 that means 2600 each year And im staying in hostel which costs me 100000 As my father is a government employee i get no fee reimbursement in telanga , which usually pays atleast 35000 back on tuition fee for underprivileged Sc/st or even oc who earn less than 100000 year People who got rank jnder 10000 gets free of tuition fee so they just had to pay registration fee and hostel

Campus Life

2.5

Omg i can talk hours about this People here especially my friends are really badly grown up i got spoiled ater coming here But the campus life is reallh fun cos we get to skip and sit in library do out stuff and also can participate in lot of hackathon and stuff But clubs are shit Its like real life politics t The one rich kid that thinks he owns the club and his minions who hate him but has no life for themselves so had to act accordingly There's like really less information on which club is even there here And once after forst year no one really opens up about new clubs that forms and only two bluns are active here Cultural and mun And the cbb coding brigade club is just for the privileged know by faculty with high class skills selfdeveloped Technologies are rarely know by us I even heard some faculty gatekeep to give interships to few students of her close circle There's nothing student run here everything is facilty backed up upto my knowledge

Admission

The fact that i thought iit would be worse for me i still hate it i had the potential but heard that so many people suicide cos they couldn't make it ghru exams there thats how i ended up here I got top 10colleges in my city but i liked this college Its very mee Very peaceful and its away from city i thought i would spend time on myslef without wasting here But every thing went wrong after that its more about people here than the college Although faculty here is really bad they are pure evil some of them I wrote eamcet exam the cutoff was upto 14k i got 12k rank j applied for it and i got into this

Faculty

2.5

Faculty students ratio is really bad even though we are alloted to councillors they are supposed to look upon us but only thing they does is make sure we got enough attendance (75%) and on top of it they wouldn't even know us irl I liked few faculties especially my chem mam im her fav student and also the other way around so yea And also my present class teacher They look after me They notice me and thing that i do which gives me validation and boost to make more things to make them proud We got two mids every semester That is we had four mids Two internals two externsla And two end semesters a year Pass percentage is 70% It usually depends on branch and the paper But you would be surprised when i talk about the placement percentage its 30% last year That is 24 passed out batch???? I would say the curriculum teaches us nothing but the core But to gain a job we need skill especially when we study cse we need skills in coding which is usually ignored and only focus on getting grades

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year 2nd semester onwards, all the students are eligible for the palcements except those who have more than 2 backlogs. The companies like COGNIZANT, AMAZON , POLTECH, IBM,SWIGGY ,etc many MNC comanies are also visited. The highest package as of my knowledge is 32lpa and the average package is 10lpa. 75% of the students get placed in the campus drives. And finally my plan is to get placed in the campus drives with good package.

Placement Experience:

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

From 5th semester the students are getting ppo , it's obvious because of nirf of nitw and top placements are here only. Around 80 percent of students are placed if we skip the biotech branch because they all go for higher studies Highest package was 88lpa last year and the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is about 13lpa I want to go for tech placements and want a package of 30 lpa that's enough for me
