What Students Say

Likes

Vit campus is good. It's huge. Greeneries are there.
The hostel and mess facilities are also good.
The faculties are decent enough. I got my physics and thermodynamics faculty very good. Others were good enough.

Dislikes

The college is quite far from the hostel.
The rules are very strict. They will not let you go even outside of the college.
Fruit shops, and groceries are outside the campus. So if you want that you need to take permission for that.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very well designed and easy to understand for students. Students who are willing to do engineering will gain interest in the subjects more. The exam patterns and frequencies are also well.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 189000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly tuition fees is 1,89,000 and it's not increasing year on year as of my knowledge. I am in category-1 of VIT vellore Mechanical Branch.There are batchmates who are paying 307000 as tuition fees and even more. Those depends on the category that they got during viteee. Overall it's good if you're within category-2. Worth it.

Campus Life

The clubs are well enough as well as the online student portal. You get a portal named vtop where you can access all your college study materials as well as exam marks. This makes study more convenient.

Admission

I have given wbjee and got a rank 5623. I hoped to get under 2000 so that i could take admission in jadavpur. But life took me somewhere else. I gave the viteee and got selected. I have my special interest in mechanical branch that's why I've chosen this branch

Faculty

The faculty members are good. There are three exams for one sem. Cat1 cat2 and FAT. Cat1 and Cat2 are minor exams while fat is the final one. Cat2 is open book exam. You can easily score good if you follow the class well.

Exploring SNSCT in my POV

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho,apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

The only college i applied was VIT .i applied in DKM college just as an Last option. I was not rejected from another college as I didn't applied for any college.
