Likes

You will meet people who are serious regarding their future and that will help you as you will end up in a good company majority of people are intelligent and that would help you as you would have a competitive environment
Banaras Hindu University has a name like any where you go your degree will carry an importance, it's a well known university
You would have a college life as their are swimming courses or yoga , there are gym and ground where you can play cricket or any other sport

Dislikes

Girls ratio is very less compared to boys like for bsc maths there are like 10-15 girls for 100 boys
Very few people are able to secure a hostel seat , even not all girls are able to get a hostel and for safety reasons sometimes it can be concerning
There is very little interaction with senior like if you are in hostel then maybe you can meet them other wise is it nearly impossible

Okay Banaras Hindu University syllabus is really good if are preparing for csir net or gate like majority of the topics are taught. But you have to give some extra efforts if you really want to crack those exams .

Fees and Financial Aid

Banaras Hindu University is very affordable like first semester fees is around 3000-4000 and second semester fees is around 500 so your first year will be completed in 3500-4500 , and labs fees is not much unless you have computer science as a subject.

Campus Life

We do have kassi yatra every year in December or January where Vishal Shekhar Dharshan Raval Bassi have performed and you would have garba during Navratri and Holi celebrations . Library provides a wide rande of books but they do get issued by students very fast so you have to be quick if you any book. There is cyber library where you can use computers . Bhu also provides free Wi-Fi. There are not a wide variety of clubs , but we do have a few but not very popular

Admission

For getting admission in Banaras Hindu University you have to give cuet exam you have to get a very good score though, I did give jee advance I qualified jee mains but my jee advance score was bad so I couldn't get into any IIT or nit colleges

Faculty

Generally professors are helpful like you can ask them questions regarding the specific subjects, obviously some have that superiority aura . Mathematics department professors copy checking is worst like don't expect to get like 8 cgpa pe something like that many students have to go through year back. And back in one or two subjects is very normal . I am a mathematics graduate student

After 2nd year(4th semester ) students gets internship so that they get industry experience Yashraj visited and offered position for assistant director Highest package - n/a project based around 1.5 lac per project Only passionate and hardworking students gets placement in percentage should be 30-40% I will go to Mumbai after degree for work

Review of University reality

Placement Experience:

Lucknow University does not have very strong campus placements for B.Sc students, as most companies prefer professional or technical courses like B.Tech or MBA. However, a few job fairs and placement drives are organized where companies from education, sales, and basic research roles visit. The placement opportunities usually start after the 5th semester. The average package offered is quite low compared to other professional colleges, and only a small percentage of students get placed through campus. Most B.Sc students prefer to go for higher studies like M.Sc, B.Ed or prepare for competitive exams such as SSC, Bank, UPSC, State PCS, etc.

In the University campus replacements are the very good Hindi engineering courses and law but in the forensic the placement companies come very less. Fifth semester students are eligible for the campus placement in any courses in the engineering courses the highest package of the students gone 12 LPA. I will do the post graduation after the under graduation

As i was unable to crack cutoff so this was my third option. comparing it with my first preferences those university give exposure do seminar strict curriculum here it is little bit chill environment.
