My experience of college life

A bachelor of science in life science will help me to get my dream job to be fulfilled. the teaching method is quite good no need for any change as the teaching is done with the projector and the notes are displayed on them with proper diagrams and are easy to understand by the students. even though no language barrier, both English and Hindi are used while teaching In three years 6 semester exams have to be given. except these, there are also pre-exams before every semester exam that sometimes will be difficult and sometimes easy and medium It's all depends upon your preparation for the exam and the efforts you have made to learn the syllabus or cover it properly timings of semester exams usually 3 hour may be evening.or morning according to the schedule.

The annual fees of the course bachelor's of science in life science is 33000 including all platforms charges. Registration fees is 900 Admisssion fees and lab fees and academic fees all included in 33000 Whereas examination fee charges every year that is 3200 or may vary sometimes For reserved category like tribal ST has to fill scholarship form released every year. They get fees concession upto half of the fees mentioned in the brochure Other scholarships are - 1. Two girl child fees concession gives 3000 to each girl of a same parent 2. Weaker section fees concession by writing an application to principal about their financial condition and get fee concession 3. Tribal and. Other backward class The fees mentioned above is quite reasonable and affordable . The college is giving good infrastructure laboratory facilities+ library facilities + NCC courses. This is quite good as all these covered in only 33000 rupees .no extra charges have to paid except registration.

Many fest are held annually .there are various fest focusing on increasing the students involvement in other curriculum activities which make them more confident.in these fests usually any celebrity or well known respected people were invited as a guest to share their lifetime experience and to boost the energy of students.libray is two floor block with lot of space and books are almost of all kind including magazine newspaper story books encyclopaedia and any science or general studies.

Hostel is quite good .both boys and girls hostel is well equipped . They have ac a. Well equipped gym and even have a spacious room and proper mess facilities Mess is quite good .menu and quality of food is good they always change the menu and upgrade them with snacks and fruits . After getting admission in college you just need to fill the hostel form and need a guardian with you to join the hostel. And it is quite affordable as in chandigarh pgs and flat are quite high price and even transportation fees is quite huge .so hostel is must recommended .in chandigarh itself it's overbudget but you can prefer outside chandigarh outskirts like zirakpur Mohali and even nayagaon is quite cheap in rents .for transportation you can just use buses of cu .for the bus pass you just need to apply in sampark centre and you can go in any place in any bus only in ?500 per month .it makes your accomodation cheap and easily under the budget

I have applied for the university but I lack of preparation in the exam. but I joined this college because of its infra and teaching staffs plus facilities. eligibility criteria is not tough you only get admission on the basis of merit .just need to fill out a registration form as a new applicant. submit various documents like categories if have and marksheet for class 10 th and 12 th then there will be counseling and only those with good merit gets admission in the course .it's not difficult to get admission in private institutions But this college comes under Punjab University. all the exams come and are checked from directly Punjab university. and its fee structure is quite affordable and giving the Student scholarships. the facility is quite good and the teaching staff is guiding you always about what to do in future and makes you aware of the competitive nature of this generation. You will be well prepared for this college

Faculty is quite friendly and knowledgeable how to improve teacher student relations.they know the fact how the genz are lacking behind and how to cop them up to the competitive nature . teaching style is quite good and easily understable to students using projectors to display the points with proper diagrams .
