Course Curriculum Overview
So i chose the communicative english course mainly bcause i wanted to gain a deep understanding in english language and to communicate fluently.The college has very good teaching faculty for english subject.It also helped me tackle daily life problems.Our teaching system should include more student exchange programme and more seminars. This are actually available but only sometimes.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college takes fees from students of each courses.Every student has to pay the fess yearly.Currently ,i'm enrolled in a third year undergraduate programme.I have to pay around 2k per annum.This varies according to our category and subject.Our college also provides scholarship to students such as E-grants which will help in reduction of fees.
Campus Life
In my first year, i challenged myself by participating for the Best freshers competition.It was a competition to find the best student.Although, i found it tough, i did perform my best.I was promoted to talent round.Next year, i participated in the Malayali manka contest.It is a contest related to Kerala's tradition.We also have pageants like Miss All saints'. Our college library has wide variety of books.I used to spent my free hours there. Our college extracurricular activities like sports has helped to achieve many prizes to our college.
Admission
The other college i applied was Kerala university college for BA english.But i got allotment to All saints' college.Other factors include is that it is a womens college so there will be less distraction.I got merit admission to this college. I'm happy about the fact that i didn't get selected to other colleges.
Faculty
A special gratitude has to be given to our teaching faculty and administration.All the department teachers were really supportive.They play a great role in moulding our character. Our class teachers were Kavitha mam, Nishel mam , and Shalini mam.Nishel mam has really supported us in every programmes as well as our exams. Our HOD Sonya mam is also very supportive towards us.Our principal, Reshmi mam is really supportive and an aspiring leader inside our campus.She helped us by conducting good programmes , seminars,orientation classes and other oppurtunities for the students.We also have a college counselor,Rani mam.Counselors really helped the students to overcome any issues such as stress,low self-esteem. Our arts club teachers like Lekha mam, Lissy mam and Diana mam are also very supportive. Our exam is semester wise, so there will be 6 exams in total. Most of them were easy and were answerable . Some students failed but i hope they will write improvement exam to gain marks.
