What Students Say

Likes

I like the cultural diversity here student are from different states
CMRU supports students on extracurricular activities
Teachers are very cooperative and dress code is not very strict

Dislikes

Girls boys ratio is not equal 1:6 ration of girls and boys
Parking is provided very far from college so that’s an issue
Placement cell for BCA and other 3 year undergraduate programs does not perform well

Course Curriculum Overview

Course wise it's very updates every sem it gets updated but faculties are not that qualified enough to change with the curriculum Mostly they open ppt and explain from that Every day atleast 4-5 hrs class is conducted

Placements were pretty okay when before 2022 . Earlier almost all service based companies used to visit our college but since the recession has hit It's not getting any better . My plans were already fixed before taking BCA I was sure that I'm gonna persue higher education after this so I'll be preparing for my masters

Fees and Financial Aid

90000 per year fees and state students with sc/st category get scholarships on the basis of their score in 12th grade. Each semester 2500 registration fees. 25 percent fee waivers for sc/st students with score more than 80 percent in 12th.

Campus Life

Campus life is chill and every month some event is going on Once in a year cultural fest is celebrated. Every room has projectors in our class Benches are good enough and not that old Overall with the price you pay It's okaish college

Admission

I was very late to take admission and I had very fewer options left My first choice was Christ Bangalore and Kristu Jayanti But Christ interviews started in January and I missed it and Kristy I gave interview they were giving me bsc data science I did not take the course I wanted to do bca so I chose CMR over kristu

Faculty

1 faculty for 60 students batch. Faculty is actually nice and u can approach them But the management can perform better because they keep changing schedules And number of holidays can be increased like Saturday there's no holiday here Each semester we have mainly 3 core subjects and rest elective and aptitude and soft skills subjects

Journey Of Greatness

Placement Experience:

•)Our college providing a good facilities in placements.For the final years they providing in a large scale of opportunities, many of them were utilising in a healthu way. •)Our college was surrounded by many IT companies so that probability of the amount of companies were high.Examples of some of the companies are Hcl,Infosys,Tata,Ibm,Dhl etc etc •)Average package was about 2.5L and the maximum was 9L for the freshers. At the previous year we have a percentage of more than 90 of our placements, that was quite impressing for the new comers also

The college have 100 days placement programs,some companies are come in some days .5th semester starting of hiring companies and got placements. Placement Experience:

Yes the college have placements, in 5th or 6th semester many companies came here for placements and they conduct interviews to recruit students. Many of them will selected. Companies like Infosys, HCL Technology, Amazon logistics, DHL, and so on. I don't know about correct placement percentage but there is good enough. If I placed in any of the companies i go for it and if I don't get, I will look for my own opportunities to get a job. And i hope i will become in a good position after completing my degree

I took BCA AI& ML because I want to know more about AI . From our college they take us for industrial visit , take classes with ppt , ask students to prepare preparation etc . They give 1.30hr for exams

The eligibility to the course is not much in demand. u can be into the course with only 45% in PCM in 12th class and the modes of addmission are kcet, comdek and management quota.
