the college has a great amount of teachers that are so good at teaching . we have a big library facility that is also a great thing that i liked about thus college
the college has a great infrastructure a good lab facility good teaching and non teaching staffs

Dislikes

the things i have disliked is about the management the manangement is not proper
the infrastructure of the classrooms are good but the benches the computer lab and all are a bit sad to see in these conditions

Course Curriculum Overview

the carriculum is a bit poor as it is under the guidance of mahathma gandhi unversity kottayam the exams are a bit late as well as the results it can get improved in the comming years so it might be good for the upcomming students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

the post graduate program of chemistry in the cochin college is in the self finanancing side so we should hav to pay around 22500 as a semester fees now it has been increased to 25000 there is some reservation for the SC ST and all for the seats in the college

Campus Life

the overall experience in this college is excellent as we keep aside some of the infrastructure the students as well as the teachers are so good that we go to the college every day for the first years they might find it some diffficult to get to the process but once they reach second year and all they will love this college

i choosed this collwge is because i had done my bachelors in the same college so knew many of the faculties and students there as well as te college is near my home so the travel and all are easy for me but the main reson is the atmosphere in the college its amazing

there is 5 faculties for our department for each subject there is one faculty and thats good the intraction of the faculties are so good they tryu to make us understsnd the topic very well so that if we revice the topic will be in our mind for so long

Students are given internships and those who excel well in the internships often get placed in the same company. Sometimes placements are clashed for both Science and Engineering students and the better one gets placed. Many startups prefer our college and our Dean has link with many startups. My Time in MGU.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is much dry and old class. I was interested in Environment studies and that made me choose this department. But when it comes to real world application, we are not prepared. But the accessibility and availability of lab equipments are impressive and appreciative. Teaching methods needs to be much more interesting and effective. Exams are conducted with only one day break in between, which is exhausting. But their difficulty level is moderate.

Most of the teachers take classes using multimedia presentations, Seminar session was allotted for us to improve our teaching abilities. The semester exam was conducted every six months and the result was published within one month after the exams. In my batch students were passed all semester exams.

I have chosen this course because I am always passionate to learn chemistry. I want to explore it by doing research in my future. This is one reason for which I have chosen chemistry. Central University is a very good place to study because all faculty members are researchers. About 2-3 cultural events are organised per month. Sports oriented students can also go for different sports. The campus is provided with Led lights for night time. Students also get scholarships from university and also DST scholarships are also available.
