A very honest review of Bhavan's college (BA, PSYCH)

I chose psychology as my course because I have this inbuilt nature of empathy and listening skills. So when I found out that we can make a respectful career with this, I went for it. I chose this college because of its campus and faculties. I did not really paid much attention to the crowd and it was also easy travel from my area. I just hoped they could have provided us with internship opportunities after bachelors.

The fee structure for bachelors changes every year. First year, in aided, the fees was around 4000/-. In second year, it was 8000/- and in third year, it was 36000/- since during my time, majoring in psychology was considered as a professional course and also 3 out of 6 subjects were unaided so we had to pay abit more compared to the other two years. It might have changed this year...

Being a part of the cultural fest was one of my best decisions I have ever made. They have an annual cultural fest called 'O2, The Fest'. If you are going to this college, I urge you all to join this. Not only you will learn group working skills, brainstorming ideas, but also how things actually work behind the screens. The hardwork, the sacrifices, beautiful friendships and relationships, you will learn all of these and more. Also, every department have their own fests such as 'High Psych' of psychology, 'Falsafa' of philosophy, etc.

Bhavans was on top of my list because of its low fee structure, green campus and expert faculties. Other colleges I applied for was Somaiya, Mithibai, etc. Also, thanks to metro, the travelling aspect got really easy since bhavans is just 5 mins away frm the Azad Nagar metro station. The admission was online and we have to go to the college for offline verification and fee payment. The eligibility criteria was also valid. I got selected in the first round itself so the other colleges I applied for got removed.

Our faculties were pretty knowledgeable in their field and was good in teaching. They were also approachable and helpful. I would like to mention Ms. Nisargi Shah, she was our teacher in third year and was literally the sweetest one. The exam and syllabus structure was also easy and not extremely difficult or confusing. It was relevant to the course.
