I loved the fact that despite being distance education it provides me the best quality education and it just feels like offline education because amity makes it easy to interact with other students and faculties online too.
We can also visit our college campus anytime with our id cards despite being distance education.
Amity University has created their own website called besocial for students to interact more.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is quite good and convenient. Also we can decide our own examination slots . We are given 4 slots Morning, afternoon, evening and late evening. We can choose our slots as per our convenience.

Class Size: 800Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of bachelor of English lit is 30k yearly divided in two semester per year. so, 15000 per semester.. you will have to give 15k every 6 months for 3 years.. it has not increased yet and I'm in second semester.. it is quite affordable according to the teaching they provide us.

Campus Life

Enviornment of my college is really good till now. I haven't faced any issues .. my all classmates are very helpful and also the faculty is really nice and helpful. The teachers are also very kind and we are invited in all the festivals or programmes held in our college

Admission

I chose this college because this college provides us the ability to interact with faculty and students just like offline colleges. We get the feel of offline colleges in distance education. Also we are invited for fests and every programs despite being distance students.

Faculty

Our faculty members are very helpful. They always mail and ask us to join the meetings held on Saturday for smooth operation of our amigo portal. We can also call on student support to clear our queries and we can also mail them. Our exams are held online in strict proctored method by AI and professor and whole exam is recorded we are not allowed to leave or seat or move our eyes or head . If doubted by the proctor we'll have to show 360° view of our rooms too and also we are given minimum 3 warnings then our exams will be cancelled.

Honest And Factfull

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well. Recently teachers werw changed due to their poor performances in class. This improvement was done. Now exams frequency and timings wero also fine and there was not difficultly level at all

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in psychology that's why I adapt this course. got to know so many things about psychology and which help me to know people better really help me in my day today life. But the professor need to explain more and do not give illusionary examples. Did they have to try to explain in real world scenario. The courses is difficult and the paper is so lengthy give three hours to write and the people is so many that the time is insufficient they need to give more time if they expect to fill 24 pages of answer sheet.

The curriculum is adapt according to my knowledge It is same that of Lucknow University and somewhat similar to delhi University with only few changes. The exam ain't very difficult to crack students can prepare 3-4 days before exam and yet ace it.

Placements in my college are really nice and the placement cell was we have to find the placements for the students studying the college they make they also make sure that the students are well equipped with the skill so that to get place in my college students are eligible from the 6th semester for the campus placements the highest packages was offered in my college was around 6 lakhs and average packages is about 2 lakh per annum and around 80% of the students get their placements rest also get jobs from where according to their personalities

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

Amity is a Universe not University.

I applied to other colleges also but i choose amity because Amity really gives you the knowledge. It makes you a overall complete person. It makes you forward in life, teaches you how to gain confidence which i didnt had before coming to Amity. The admission process was quite easy i got admission through my CUET Score. In admission portal it asks you general questions and takes few of your informations and previous scores of 12th and 10th.
