Likes

This college has one of the best infratructure in tamilnadu with well equipped class room fully air conditioned
The faculties working here are very friendly and many of them are graduated from most renowned government colleges in tamil nadu
there is no ragging in this college they strictly follow the anti-ragging policies

Dislikes

many of the office staffs are from north India and they dont know the local language so you need to have decent english communication skills
The bond period is one of the cons even though they are paying 12 lpa in that period many students prefer to go for pg right after mbbs
there are no major sports and cultural events like other govt colleges and canteen is not that much good

Internships Opportunities

Currently, an ESIC student is paid around 30k during internship and for bond year it's around 1 lakh. That's actually one of the the highest stipend/salary compared to other medical institutes.But the work here will be very hectic

Placement Experience

I said after 4.5 years we have to do the CRRI for 1 yr in the same college in which we are posted in various department and the work will be hectic and for that they will give about 26k per month and after that one year there will be a bond period of one year in which they will give you the posting at any one of the esi hospital present all over the India with the salary of 12lpa

Campus Life

OUTDOOR GAMES Badminton, Cricket, Volley ball INDOOR GAMES Carrom, ChesS Separate Gymnasium for girls and boys also available. A well-equipped library for the UG and PG students and staff with Digital Library and Reading room containing more than 7500 Latest Edition books.

Hostel Facilities

Admission

I prefered esic college over other colleges because of three main reasons first one is it is close to my house so there is no need to travel more as it would affect my studies and the second one is the bond period unlike other studens I would like to work for that one year and save some money for my PG and the third is the infrastructre it has the best infrastructre in tamil nadu.

Faculty

Faculties are exceptionally good in this college unlike all other govt colleges they take efforts to teach the subjects until students understands it and always available to clear the students doubts. Dr.anuradha mam is one of my favourite faculties teaching community medicine she is very friendly.calm and composed

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
