Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching method and topics for each class is based on the gulidlines given by the Competency based medical education. The Final exam conducted at the end of each year is based on the gildlines given by the MGR university. Part completion test is conducted at the end of each unit as well as internal assessment is conducted at end 2 or more units.

Internships Opportunities

The college have internship opportunities for one year which is compulsory. The interns will posted on each hospital as well as the same medical college. The collge also have one year bond which is compulsory. College provide good stipend for internship and bond time period.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees- 1 lakh for non-ip student 24000 for ip student No fees required for student who have 7.5% reservation. Caution deposit- 5000/yearly Log book fees- 10000(roughly for whole course) Hostel fees -10000/yearly

Campus Life

Each year one grand cultural and sports event is conducted. Small other sports events also conducted. Library is big and have so many books . The collge have so many clubs on each subject and other things. The class are good and all are digital class rooms.

Hostel Facilities

Each one medical staff will in the hostel as well other hostel staff will be there . The mess good but little bit more tamil food items.The quality food is nice and included non veg items and veg items. The registration process of hostel is easy and hostel have good environment.

Admission

I applied for ESIC Gulbarga medical college, ESIC Bengaluru medical college , ESIC kollam medical college and ESIC chennai medical college.I got ESIC Gulbarga and Chennai medical colleges. Beacuse Good academics and college environment i selectedthis college. The admission to this college is based on the marks scored during NEET UG exam conducted that year.The admission procedure comparatively easier than other colleges.

Faculty

There are enough faculties in each subject to teach. Although the strength of the class is 150 the more number ot faculties overwrite it . The teacher are very friendly. The exam and classes are done and taken as MGR university guidelines as well as cbme norms.

Night Life

The college have cafeteria which real good one . College also have one library and big study ang reading area. Environment around the collge is good . The collge almost near to chennai central and have metro transport also. There are so many beaches and mall for hangout during weekends. The hostel close 9.30 for boys and 7.30 for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
