Life in Jamia Hamdard

You have internship option in clinical research and other coueses in masters,but for pg biochemistry internship is not mandatory.if you want you can do it in summer vacation. But dissertation is mandatory in 4 th sem .

At Jamia hamdard fee structure varies based on the course.For academic year of 2024-2025 the fee structure of biochemistry (masters) is 50000 ,and exam fees 5000 ,And HOSTEL fees for 1 year for dormitory is 55000 , security deposit 10000, laundry charge(mandatory) 4100,and mess 27000 per year,and for double seater ac is 120000 per year. In terms of scholarship Jamia hamdard offer several financial aid option,it is available through hamdard national foundation,there are also provisions for fees concession and government scholarship.

Campus Life is good,It is a muslim university,But I don't feel anything wrong or something here. There are many canteen and food court, which offers foods ,and there are several sport's and extracurricular activities like cricket football badminton ,and in classroom we have projectors which very helpful for us.

The hostel facility is good, but the mess food is not okay.sometimes, they give unhygienic food, and the menu is same, and if you're a non-vegetarian Rooms and dorms are overall good in AMHR.

I choose this college because of its rank and NAAC grade and there lab facilities and they have the post graduation course in biochemistry,they have their own building SCLS( School of chemical and life sciences) which is better than any other colleges.

There 8 professors in our biochemistry department,they all are good. There are 3 sessional exam for per subject and best of 2 are taken for internal and you have to score overall 50% in exams. The the course curriculum is very good.but if you don't score well in internal there is a chance to fail.
