Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am a upsc aspirant so I choose this course like my subjects was philosophy hindi Sanskrit and English..so all of these are helpful in cse exam and sanskrit is my optional subject... And the syllabus is designed such as it is helpful in cse exam and ugc net exam also The timing of exam was completely okay but I was a after covid student and we enrolled lately so it was a little tough situation for us .... The course can be improved by adding discussion method and weekly feedback ...

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for odd sem be like 2600 for first and for 3rd and 5th it's 1400 something and for even sem it is just 400 approx Caution money for hostellers was like 2.5k Fee of sc st category was minimal Students can apply for national and state scholarships .

Campus Life

4.5

BHU is popular for its culture and traditions and it is true...every festival is celebrated there with full enthusiasm and students participate in that.... There are many technical fests also Students can easily access library facilities and cam issue books from there for 2 month period of time at once Each class is well furnished and equipped with smart board Sports and extra curricular run side by side with study There are many groups and clubs like communication club, cultural club, creativity club, sports club and so on

Admission

I had applied for DU and I got admission in Hindu college, Du(eng hons) but due to distance issue and health issue I couldn't make it there so I preferred BHU over that For graduation 10+2 with min 55% score students are eligible... Student can get admission through cuet ug exam conducted by NTA If we talk about cutoff it depends on the courses and the no of students appeared for exam

Faculty

5

In graduation there are around 150 to 200 students in language courses and it is less than 100 for others courses I personally like each faculty cause whenever I have a doubt they clear it immediately or within sometime They also guide us for our career options.. There are 1 sessional exam for 30 marks and 1 theory exam of 70 marks per semester A few students like 2 3 was there who couldn't cleared the exam The course curriculum is very relevant and it helps further...

Placement Experience:

Many companies visit here for direct placements and many top companies also come here like Orkut, Microsoft, Etc. We should not 100% depend on the placement here because there is no guarantee of our selection . We should have a plan B so that there will be a chance not to fail in life.

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.

Firstly I will tell you positive thing • Professors are really helpful • Conducive environment for those who wish to study. Negative thing is- • One would found some Holly gun in the college premises, but don't worry about that PAC is always present in college Campus.
