- The thing which I like the most about the college is that there is greenery all around and some professors are really really good and the way they guide us is really amazing.
- My personal experience which I can share about my college life is that there is no one who will remain constant throughout the college life. There will be some ups and downs but ultimately we have to find ways to enjoy this college life.

Course Curriculum Overview
Well the time when I chose this course was during COVID as researchers were trying to develop the vaccine. So when vaccine was produced in a very short span of time I thought that from then onwards biotechnology will have a huge scope in coming future. So when I took admission in the college and tried studying the subjects I found it quite interesting and the professors here guide us very well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course in which I am enrolled is B.Tech Biotechnology and my course fee per year is Rs. 1,30,670 (Rs. 65,335 per semester). The actual amount for this course is Rs. 77,000 per semester but after 20% concession it has been reduced to Rs. 65,335 which includes my examination fee of Rs. 3500 and also other extra compulsory charges are included in the fees. There are some of my batchmates who pay a very little amount of money as their fee because of some qouta and I don't exactly remember the amount they pay.
Campus Life
The overall experience of my college life lufe was quite good, mesmerizing, full of adventures and of course with my friends I created a lot if memories which I'll cherish lifetime. There are several clubs in my college some of them includes Photography club, Cultural Club, Literary Club and many more. This is a Christian college so not all the festivals are celebrated here but from the last year students are trying to celebrate festivals inside the campus and the main festival which is celebrated here is Christmas. There is a good facility of sports for students as there is a very huge playground where students can come and play any sport of their choice and the university also organise sports day every year. In each classroom there is a projector.
Admission
I applied to the Chandigarh University that is in Chandigarh, Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune and Scottish Church In Kolkata. I got a confirmed email from every college but I chose this college because of some family members and also this college is far better than other colleges as I've seen the reviews of each college on internet. The admission procedure of my college is merit based admission and university examination.
Faculty
The name of my institute is JIBB (Jacob Institute of Biotechnology and Bioengineering). It consists of 5 departments that is, Department of Bioinformatics, Department of Molecular and Cellular Engineering, Department of Industrial Microbiology, Department of Biochemistry and Biochemical Engineering and Departure of Tissue Culture. The faculties of each departments are very supportive and they try their level best to make the students understand everything. They try to interact with every student and if they find something wrong with any of the student they personally talk to them and try to help them as much as they can. There is one of the faculty I like the most because of her way of teaching and the subject she taught was Recombinant DNA technology. There are total 8 semesters included in my course but we have to appear for only 7 semester as the last semester that is 8th semester we have to go for a training period of 6 months.
